Show name for Reese.

I pulled out Reeses papers so I could register her for fair and it said...
Name: Biscuit

Soooo I'm going to need to get it changed. I might send it in as Reese unless I find a nice show name. Her parents don't have a long name or anything so I can't pull anything from them.

I was thinking Reddy To Shine, or something like that but I wondered if you guys had any ideas.

Hmmm...since her name is Reese and that's also a candy bar, you could go with a candy theme...

Yes I am in 4-H this is my first year and we are trying it out to see if we like it.

Do 4Hers in your area give fancy show names to their dogs? Here at agility even if your dog has a fancy name everyone uses the call name.

Do what ever makes you happy lol. I say just go with Reese, its cute its short and it sound good on its own (Unless everyone else makes up show names, then ... nah I still say keep it short lol)

Psyche has a "show name" but it's mostly just when I want to make edits. It's not on her AAC papers or anything, and when she did 4-H with me, it wasn't that, it was just "Psyche". You could just have a "show name" like I do that's for YOUR use, and register her as "Reese".

Both my dogs have registered names. CPE is the only venue I play that was looking for that. AAC agility and CARO rally certificates come in their call names only. Whatever you put down would show up on gate lists and all.

My involvement with dog training and showing started when I joined a 4H dog club at 11 years with my shy mixed breed. I wasin 4H until I aged out then I became an advisor...and still am
