Ruger went Group 4th today

This weekend we were up in Canada again for a dog show. The show was in Cloverdale BC. The show is actually going on tomorrow also, but I have to work. Today, Ruger went WD, BOW, BOB and on to earning a Working Group 4th. With the 4 CKC points from two weeks ago and earning 5 points (the max that you can get in one day) from today, he is now only 1 point away from earning his Canadian Ch. title. The BOB placement was over 1 specials male and 3 specials females.

I did get a picture this time and will post it as soon as it comes.

Renee, it means Ruger came to the show as a class dog, the lowest rung of competition.

He beat the male dogs competing for CH points to advance to Best of Winners competition.

He then beat the female who won CH points today, and also beat the other 4 Champions competing, to be pinned as the best Rottweiler in competition today.

He then went to compete in the working group, and won a 4th place award, meaning only 3 other dogs in the working group were today judged to be better than he.

It is a very strong showing for such a young dog!!
