Okay, I just shot these off. I cropped out the boxes he's laying next to, but these are nice head profiles.

I'll start a new thread, but I have some really cute pics of ruger playing with the puppy.

Ruger has a gorgeous head. Very satisfyingly blocky, and full of that thing that makes a Rottie a Rottie.

I have always wondered how little Mick grew up, Red, and how big he is now. Do you know?

He looks so nice, very much like Mike. I got big flews in this litter, both these boys here have that.

Yeah, Doc, I saw him last summer. He was similar in size to the 2 boys I have here. He is probably bigger than Milton. He caught up just fine.

He's such a handsome guy, what a head! And I too love his flews!!

Where does he get shown? Is it mainly in the central us/canada or does he go in the north east at time? :D

Yodel, I very much enjoy being able to show in different venues. With the IABCA shows, they hire AKC, CKC, and FCI certified judges, and you receive a written critique. It is nice to hear why your dog was placed the way it was.
I have never seen an IABCA show. Do they post ring times for each breed like in AKC shows? Or do you have to stand around and be ready to go in at any time like a fun match? Do all 4 judges go over your dog? Do you gait your dog for each one? How long are you normally in the ring? Any hints or comments?

Can I ask a stupid question?

How is he an international ch?

Are there dogs from around the globe there?

How can you show internationally when some (most european) countries dock and others don't?

If you really wanted to know that, you would do a simple search. Here is the link:

IABCA 2.0

So you can check out what is involved with earning this title. The title is called UCI Int'l Champion.

I will be frank, Dizzy.

I don't care for your posts, your views, or really much of anything about you. I do not crap on your threads. In fact, I pretty much ignore you.

I would appreciate the same in return, if that is not too much to ask. Especially I ask your indulgence, and to please not crap on this thread with my puppy person expressing her joy at another accomplishment of her dog.

Good link, Red!

I want to show my girl in IABCA, basically because it's a quick finish and just another venue to show in. :)

Congrats, Ruger!

I DID google it.

I wasn't "crapping" on your thread I was asking a Q I know nothing about because I wanted an answer.

How on EARTH is what I asked negative?

I asked if it is an international competition? I looked at the site, and I didn't understand it, then I thought I'd ask the people who DO it.

I wasn't asking you to be my buddy, I was asking for an answer because I don't get it.

I HAVE asked the Q before when the thread came up a long time ago about competing internationally and the breeder wouldn't dock her dogs so she could compete internationally. It has nothing to DO with docking, I just wondered if you CAN compete internationally when the standards are DIFFERENT internationally.

I didn't get an answer then, and clearly you're so defensive you aren't going to give one now

But thanks for the heads up, you don't much care for me.... Doesn't change much really does it ;)
