How much does your vet charge for an office visit; I mean just to walk in the door? Mine charges $49 and I live in the SF Bay area.

I'm trying to gauge if this is too much!

We don't charge office visit fees if the animal is there for a) vaccinations, b) toenail clipping, c) ear cleaning, or d) anal gland expression.

For the remainder of the time, visit fees range from $10 (quick & easy) to $20 for an in depth visit.

Hope this helps.

Usually its 20$ for general check up. But since we've been going to him for many years now he does ours free alot of times.

Obviously have to pay for all medications, etc.

40$ per month for hartguard and advantage.

"Well pet" exams cost around $30-32 at the last few vets I've gone to, ranging from Missouri to here in OK. But they don't charge you just to go in there. Sometimes they don't even charge you for the exam, depending.

Ours is $35 for office call, but for vaccinations there is not a charge for the office. Northern Indiana here.

Zoe gets her general check up when she goes in for vaccines and it is $45 but that is really paying for the shots.
