I have a question; one of the things that throws me off about Christianity a lot is the whole 'animals have no souls'. As you see in my signature, 'Heaven can not be heaven if my dog is not there to welcome me'. And when I say this, I mean family as well.
In the mind of a Christian, I see it being like this: All God's creations are equal. I see them as all going to heaven (aside from the humans who are intelligent enough to know about God). Otherwise, why would he create them and the other many species? For help? Then why when we grow attatched to them would he take them away from us? My friend believes that all the good of Earth (also God's creation) will be heaven which will constitute animals as well. If you think about it, without the bad on Earth, it'd be a pretty sweet place. And Adam and Eve also called it paradise, until the devil came and screwed it all up... BUT at this point, he won't be around to do that.
My friend ALSO said that no where in the bible does it specify that animals will not be in heaven.
Does anybody have any scriptural evidence of this or anything similar?
