Yeah so I pretty much fail as a Chazzer! Not only do I keep sinking into lurk mode but I have had a new dog since late October and haven't posted one single picture of him.
Sooo here we go! He is a rescued saluki, from Qatar. He's somewhere around 1.5 to 2 years. Probably not quite 2.
This is the picture I fell in love with while looking through all the dogs available in Qatar. Never noticed till later there is a big dog turd right in front if him :lol-sign:

His name is Wassim. It means handsome in Arabic. Although I had a huge list of names (I've been waiting 15 years for a saluki!) it suited him so well that I kept it. This is when he was still at the rescue in Qatar.

After a 3 month wait we finally found a flight buddy! On the big day I got this pic sent to me and I stayed up all night tracking his 18 hour flight!

The lady in the blue hoodie is Beth. She is a volunteer at the rescue in Qatar. She took so many pics and videos for me while I was waiting. Then she even changed her vacation dates so she could be his fight buddy and flew into Toronto instead of her destination in Nova Scotia.

The next day.

This pretty much sums up Robyn's relationship with him the first week or so. She had torn a nail and was grumpy and miserable.

He is such a cuddle bug!

As soon as Robyn's nail fell off and she could play without pain they became great friends!
