Here is the first day with Jin, right after we picked him up from the shelter we took the boys to the dog park!

More pics...heeling on leash down the hill to the park entrance (very hard btw with the excitement that awaits, such good boys!)

Lounging together after their first day together...I think they got up and fought for an hour right after I took this!

This was is from today....the boys watching daddy eat a grilled cheese...notice Beck in the corner, a german pinscher we are doggysitting for the day..it's a mad house here today. It's raining out, so I'm following them all around with a wet swiffer, mud everywhere.

He looks like he fits right in!

I have to say that is honestly the first German Pinscher I've ever seen outside of a drawing. They really did do most of the shaping of the Dobie, didn't they? :p

Thanks guys...
Boemy, they are both labradoodles.

He has fit in very well...I'm still on edge all the time tho, making whure that they are actually playing and not fighting, and making sure Jin doesn't bug Boone too much.

Also Jin doesn't seem to be totally housetrained, althought today is only his second full day, and I guess we can't really expect him to know where the door is, or how to signal us just yet. So we'll keep working on it, and hope Boone shows him the ropes on that issue for us.

He cried in his crate last night for a tiny bit, but settled down and slept well for us the rest of the night. We will eventually move Boone's crate out of our bedroom and into the spare room with Jin, when they are more used to each other.

That's REALLY GOOD!!!!!! Yeah!!!!:D

Yah I would not worry to much about the not housetrained fully, your right it is his second night and you cannot expect him to be fully housetrained!!! But it sounds like you are doing a great job with this new little guy!!!!!!:D

Thats great, he'll get the housetraining in no time.

Yeah they love it there...and it wears off so much of their energy!

He is fitting in well...he's such a suck. Boone is way more independant, he's a cuddler!

One question tho, how do I know if they are playing? Or if it's a real fight?

It hard to describe but trust me, if it''s a real fight, you''ll know. Everything is intensified and they won''t easily be distracted. A lot of noise and a lot of fury with teeth flashing. If you think playing looks and sounds scary sometimes, a real fight sounds like it''s come straight out of hell! Now i''m talking about a real fight here, not just a little growly snappy tiff.
