I loved this superbowl game. (not as much as when my Steelers won, but a nice second) :) I LOVED the coke commercial with Charlie Brown, Stewie, and Underdog...how funny!!!!!!!!! when Charlie popped up, we both just cracked up! :) and the Budweiser horse...just tooo adorable, and that horse was just gorgeous to look at. what a magnificent animal! otherwise, I wasn't impressed with the commercials.

I am not sorry...karma is a bee yotch...cheating reaps it's own reward...and their coach showed a real lack of class leaving the field before the game was over.

Well played Giants, team effort...Eli Manning, not a boy QB anymore but a man playing quarterback...nice to see.

Congrats Giants!
Yep-er-roni! :D

Dear Patriots:
Cheaters NEVER prosper.
Love, Beanie.

PS - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
add a couple more Hahahahahahhaha's to that one Beanie, and I AGREE COMPLETELY! :lol-sign:

The Giants played an awesome game. They deserved that win.

I was pullin' for the Pats. Was sitting here biting my nails in my Brady jersey that I won in a bet from the Panthers/Pats Superbowl game!

I was rooting for the GIANTS all the way. I'm not a huge fan of either team. I'm a redskins fan here. But, I think the Giants deserved this win.

I don't know much about football.... so I was wondering how you cheat at it? I noticed a few of you mentioned about cheating. The superbowl was the only football game I watched all season and I only watched bits and pieces of it. I wanted the Pats to win, but obviously the giants played a better game. That giants player at the end that was thanking God made me nearly cry when he started to cry.

As for the commercials... I didn't see the coke one with Charlie Brown. But I did like the Bud one when the guy has flames shooting out of his mouth and he burns everything. I also found the Amp one a bit disturbing but absolutely hilarious. And I liked the dancing lizards one.. I think it was for Life Water.

GO...given that Tom Coughlin who's like what...100 years old, could figure it out, yeah. Please.

Had this coach ever show himself to be a good loser or have any ethics in past...convo might be different.

Nancy the coaching staff of the Pats video taped things about the opposing team they shouldn't have...and used that to gameplan against them. It's quite bad form, very unsporting, and they were disciplined for it. There were also new allegations of taping other team practices prior to another SB win in past...not sure how that one will work out for them.

Congrats to the New York Giants! We may live in TN now, but we're New Yorkers through and through. What a great game. Hubby already ordered the DVD, a hat, and t-shirts fo both of us!

What I thought was a shame was that Strahan wasn't named MVP. The Giants couldn't have won it with their offense if Strahan hadn't shoved the defense down Brady's craw time after time after time . . . .

I still think the Pats should have been barred from post season play for the cheating . . . and then Goodell destroying the evidence  Well, I hope some officials and poohbahs lost their asses on bets . . . . .

We left before I saw that, who was the MVP?

I agree it should have been Strahan or that little reciever dude for the Pats. Did he not set a record for most catches in a superbowl?

Eli won the MVP.

I'm philosophically opposed to the MVP coming from the losing team, so the Pats receiver shouldn't have won it, IMO. It's happened once in the Superbowl. In SBV, a Cowboys defensive player won the MVP in a losing effort.

When the Colts won last year ...the first thing they did in the locker room , with Dungy leading , was a prayer of thanks . Can you imagine how the Pats felt with their leader being such a poor loser !?
