Our Tree :)

We decided to put our Christmas tree up early this year... just wanted to share a picture of it:

Although I do have to say that its weird for me to see so many people have christmas trees already! Here you put your tree up on Christmas eve! xD

Lol When we lived in the states we got it around the 10th or something - because if we didn't there wouldn't be many left! The trees in the states are nicer though! Much fuller and taller! Here they are a tad er less branchy ( You can put real candles on though).
I guess its just tradition in Germany that most people put up their christmas trees on Christmas eve morning. In the eveing you eat a yummy christmas dinner and then open your presents... We also have 3 Christmas holidays. Christmas eve, Christmas Day and another day (kinda like boxing day in the UK). On the second and third day of christmas we (and most other families) visit the rest of the family where there is also christmas dinner... and then your are FULL ...

I'm so mad --- I got our tree all put together and decorated and then I hear this big crash. The base on it broke and it is trash. We were just using the little small 4 ft tree we had this one last year and then going to get a big new tree for next year (I'm praying the house we end up buying has big ceilings because I really really want a 10' tree) but now I have to go find a cheap/nice looking tree to just use for this year.

We havent had a christmas tree in like 3 years, so depressing

i think this year we might get one, mom isnt acutally that depressed for the holidays.
