We went from chilly/rainy to 90 degrees over night.......Literally!

I love spring and fall temps........I feel cheated! LOL

We had to have air conditioning on last night to sleep.......it's TERRIBLE! No, I am not wishing for the snow back, hahaha, but one of the reasons I love Indiana is I get all 4 seasons to enjoy each year, again I say I FEEL CHEATED!

Sounds like DC! We generally have 2-3 days of spring weather, before it hits 90. This year has been particularly weird, bouncing between 55/85 on alternating days.

I ended up buying a giant fan at Costco last month because I didn't want to run the a/c yet.

same in NY, it's like the weather can't make up it's mind what season it wants to be. One day I'm wearing a tank top and shorts sweating like crazy, the next day I'm bundled up in my snow gear freazing my tush off!

it's been the same here. it's not too bad today but it's supposed to rain later... which is fine because we aren't going anywhere anyway. Hannah is sick (not sure if it's again or still) so we are holed up in the house watching movies and resting today.

But we put the AC units in in MARCH because we had a couple of days that were 90 degrees... not kidding. Then we had FROST warnings the week before last.

I too love fall and spring weather. it's the perfect temperature. but we seemed to be getting screwed out of spring this year lol other than the rain... we are getting plenty of that.

Ugh.......I feel so bad for the middle school kids! It was in the 90's today and that school is NOT air conditioned :( I think it's pretty hard to concentrate and learn anything when you are hot and sweaty.

Our elementary is air conditioned (at least the one in our district), and the high school is too.......but our the middle school isn't. Corey came home beet red and sweating like a pig (do pigs sweat?) and the other kids walked in looking fresh as a flower, LOL, poor guy!

7 more school days.......hopefully the weather will take a down turn and cool off a bit.

When I was going to school in NYC, we didn't even get heating let alone Air conditioning.

*shakes cane* Whippersnappers! None of our schools were air conditioned! We lived, LOL.

The only thing I'm worried about is trying to figure out how to keep up running in this heat. I'm not yet at the point of insanity where I want to wake up at 5AM to go running... so I'll have to figure out how to run late in the evenings... hmm....

ROFL @ your cane shaking, hahahaha

And I know, we didn't have air conditioning either.......BUT, school for us was out by now (or at least by Memorial day), and we didn't start until after Labor Day.

These guys go from around Aug 20-ish to June 3-ish..........end of August is HOT to be sitting in a classroom with no AC!

yeah we didn't have AC in school either and we survived... BUT it made it a bitch to sit there and try to pay attention. I know I sure wasn't learning anything on those days lol and we would spend most of the day with the lights off just to try to keep it a bit cooler if we could so it was tough to see things on the blackboard and I know the teacher wasn't at his best when he was dying from the heat lol. AC is a godsend.

I can't handle the heat. I just do NOT do well in it. makes me feel sick.

as for not having heat... the nice thing about the cold weather is you can always put more clothes on... when it's hot you can only go so far before it becomes indecent lol. I handle the cold MUCH better than the heat :)

We didn't have heat or A/C in classrooms either, but since it was southern california on the coast, there were only a handful of days each year where it was needed. Teachers invested in a LOT of fans to spread around the classroom.

Oh yeah, I remember many many days of sitting in class with the lights off... slooooowly starting to fall asleep... LMAO
Gym classes were nice because they had those MONSTER wind-tunnel like fans set up. The gym was always the coolest part of the building because of it.

Yup, we started late August and ended early (to mid, depending on how many snow days we took) June too. The end of the year was always worse than the beginning, I think because you were so busy thinking about how you were almost to the end of the year too... so it just made it worse, haha. I remember in grade school we would actually go outside for classes a lot at the end of the year because it was cooler out there. That was my favourite. They never let us do that in high school though, and I keep saying at work "Can't we just get laptops and go work outside??"

Our school has both heating and AC, but they never use either! Except on rare occasion. Heh.

But I'm starting online schooling next year, and only have 3 weeks left at that school, so I'll live, and once I'm out of there, won't care anymore. :p

Gosh, I know how you feel, ACooper! Went from jeans and a light long sleeve shirt to shorts and a tank top overnight. BLEH. And while we have airconditioning, my dad refuses to turn it on until it gets REALLY hot so we are sweating it out.

And I feel spoiled. One of our lecture halls' AC wasn't working, so our professor actually let us leave class early so he could go talk to maitenence to get it working, because he didn't want to teach in a hot classroom! LOL

My ac is broke. It is hotter in here than it is outside. I got fans in the window trying to suck some of that cooler air in here.
