Seriously, she looks eerily like the mother of my first GSD, Purdue. Her name ended up being Lady. She'd been horribly abused and Nanny and I worked with her all summer the year I was 12. She was a delicate looking, feminine creature, just like yours.

Okay... its really weird to post on a thread that someone in your house made... but I wanted to chime in since he is at school and can't post for a while
As some of you may know "Gijora" has been researching breeds, and has been wanting a dog. No surprise that yours truly introduced him to petfinder and got the whole family hooked on surfing it. He shows us profiles of dogs all the time - sometimes I say "she/he's cute" and sometimes I say "That'd be a bad match" well... This dog, 'a female shepherd in cage 01' from Stark County Dog pound I said she's cute, but didn't think anything of it...
While I was at work (I really had no idea this was going to happen) and my brother was at school my parents drove all the way to stark and checked her out, asked about her temperament test, ect ect and brought her home. For my brother
So, yes, she is officially his.
I'm guessing it was a secret because I didn't know yet... and probably a title like that to get as much attention as possible, the brat
You can imagine the look on my face when I came home! At did a double take that's not Missy!!! LOL
I was a little worked up because they introduced her to my dogs without me knowing, and the constant parental worry that something might've happened, or may happened, but they're getting along pretty well...
And, yes, I still have Charlie. You can imagine, its a full house!!
I had an owner lined up for him, but something happened and there is no transport and I decided it was too far away for me if they aren't willing to work with me... Not having very good luck. It's a shame - her vet gave her an excellent reference... Are you interested, Vivien? (lol) No, but more seriously this has been my hardest place. His age and shedding is working against him SO much
