What are everyone's favorites?

All three of mine have leather 7' multi use leashes. Gage's and Bristols are from On Lead and both are two tone, Gage's is burgundy and blank and Bristols I'd pink and white. Diesels is from bold lead designs I think, but one colour.

My braided leather leashes that look like the ones On Lead makes. Not sure if they are the same, as I bought mine at a dog show, but they look the same. I have one black/teal, one black/tan and one tan.

I also like my braided 3ft leather leash from J&J Dog Supplies, and my regular leather ones from them are very nice as well. Boring to look at, but super soft and comfortable.

I like my leather leashes from Karma Collars too. The only thing I don't like about them is that I got the 5/8" ones and I can't clip the clip over the handle which I sometimes like to do if I carry the leashes around my neck.

I use my Mendota slip leads more than anything though. The thin ones (can't remember the width. 3/8" maybe?).

My absolute favourite leash is some sort of double ended/multi-use leash from the UK. No idea what it's actually called or where I could get another, but it's so handy and I love the material it's made of too.

My favorite has been my 7', 1/2" Northern Blackout leash. It has been such a good leash!

However, since she no longer is making leashes at the moment, I opted to get a Paco leash when they ran a sale. So far, it's been fabulous just like their collars! I'll definitely be going back for more.

I feel so unclassy compared to the rest of you!

My favorite leashes are these: http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=138&ParentCat=174

They are super soft, dry overnight if they get soaked, easy on the hands, and Gusto can tug on it to his heart's content.

I've never wanted to go through the break in period to get a leather leash to feel the way I like leather to feel. Having said that, I've fondled a few biothane leashes at agility trials lately that I really liked; when I get the kids their leather collars, I may get "matching" biothane leashes.

The leather ones I have didn't need to be broke in, they came soft and supple.

I'm not nearly as picky about leashes as I am with collars. So far I haven't found a leash I truly love. I have a nylon one from Petsmart that's my usual leash, and I have a rope one from Pet Wise Products that I like well enough. Her Ruffwear Slackline is nice too.

If anyone has a suggestion (any material is fine), please share!

I got a Paco when I got Meg's collar, and I think it would have been lovely once it broke it; it was definitely a bit stiff new (Gusto wound up eating it before it ever had time to get broken in). I love the feel of old leather leashes though.

So far my favorite is my 5' biothane.. 1/2" thick, I think? I'm in love. Lol

I'd love to try a leather leash of the same thickness, I just can't get away from the biothane one. XD

Hands down, my go to leashes are my J&J leather leashes. I have them in multiple sizes and lengths, but my favorite is the guide dog leash/convertible leash I have. (GDB sells them on their website, too.) The only sad part is they don't make black ones, except for their braided leather. I got a black leather leash at the AWDF trial and I can't for the life of me remember what the company is called, but it's just like my J&J leashes.

If I am not using leather, I REALLY like the White Pine leashes.

I was never a leash snob...until I bought my biothane lead (can't remember the brand at the moment, lol), and now I can't wait to get a matching but thicker one for froman.

I prefer leather and biothane. My most favorite leash is about 15 years old; my dad made it for me when I was still riding horses and one of my friends messed up a brand-new pair of bridle reins. She gave them to me and they have been the best leashes ever.

Rhys is bound and determined to destroy the leather leads, though. Turdlet.

Yeah, I'm not that leash picky. As long as it doesn't clash with the collar, I'm fine. Some of my collars came as sets with leashes.

For usual walking, I have a Gripper leash for Tess:
http://www.gripleash.com/index.html
Selected mostly because it was there, and very sturdy. Pirate's is a 6', 1" wide blue nylon, with metal snap. It's pretty beat up, I should probably replace it sometime. It clashes with one of his collars, so I bought a turquoise colored rope leash. Which I actually really like, because it's soft. It's only 4' long, though, and I prefer a 6' leash for walking.

Oh, the other fancier leash I have is an Xtreme sports leash
http://www.xtremepetproducts.com/
Which I use for bicycling with the dogs. I added a spring between the handle and the leash section, for extra give.

I was sorting through all this crap today anyway so took a picture of it to save me the trouble of typing it out anymore lol.

This is most of what I have. Harnesses, long lines, packs, and a couple old especially ratty nylon leads not included.

For caring so much about collars, I'm really not picky about leads!

Rory has a rope leash, and I just use thin leather or nylon leashes for the chihuahuas. I'd like to get all matching thin leather leashes for the chihuahuas, but it's never been something I've cared about getting!

My favourite leash is my leather utility leash from Texas Leash Company.
The rings are in the perfect spots, it looks great and feels great.
Needed a tiny bit of working in, but just using it multiple times a day on walks did the trick. It's nice and soft now, but I know it'll only get better :)

I also have yet to find a leash that I'm in love with. My usual go to leashes are from Spindrift. They were gifted to me and at first I was nervous because they don't look strong. I've put them to the test more than once and they have held up so well! I really do like them. I believe they are 3/4" wide. I'm not really sure.

I had a 1" wide leather leash that was so pretty but it was way too big for my hands. I recently sold it but I'm in the market for another braided leather leash in a smaller width but I'm just not sure what to get.

I've got a black Marri's lead from Ella's lead that has held up over countless uses and it's definitely my favorite for usefulness.

I've also got a braided leather traffic lead that my old training mentor got for me at a dog show. It's wonderful feeling but I just don't use it all that much.

Right now Marley's got the Ella's lead because it stands up well to her yanking on it trying to go after squirrels. Sawyer is using a couple of cheap-o vet leads I've got connected together. I'd like to get him a leather lead soon. I really wish Northern Blackout was still doing leashes, because I am beyond impressed with the quality of the reins she made for me and all the sh*t they've held up through.
