I get back from the UK to find Misha with a huge lump on her face, which appeared while Bill was fetching me from the airport!! She's on antibiotics now but this morning it burst while we were out on a walk, while being chased by a stray dog....just about to go to the vets - am praying they open today, or we can track them down.............anyway........was just a quick one to say hi & will catch up when the dust settles!

Welcome back to Spain and good luck finding a vet today - hope it's nothing serious. We had an encounter with a stray dog too the other day  anyway all the best, let us know how Misha is!

Well we are back and it was pretty horrible - a huge abcess - that must hurt like hell. It took four of us to hold her down while it was cleaned out, and now she is just lieing there with this big weepy sore and is not moving or doing much at all - do they ever give dogs pain killers? Anyway thanks guys, I'm looking forward to getting some quiet time soon, so I can actually catch up with all your threads. Hasta luego!

Poor Misha! I hope she feels better soon. How do dogs get those? Do they just appear? I hope she feels better really soon.

Poor Misha! We had a yellow cat, Gulliver, who was prone to abcesses. He was the easiest critter in the world to take care of though; he knew we were just taking care of him. Good thing too, he was a fifteen pounder - mostly muscle!

Give Misha an extra treat from me.

Thanks, I've given her a big hug from you all!!!! Apparently it's an abscess at the base of her tooth - and will probably result in a tooth extraction, tomorrow we will find out. In the meantime she is so lethargic even the word 'walk' has no effect, last night I was pretty worried about her but hopefully she'll feel better as the antibiotics kick in. It certainly reminds you how much teeth can hurt!

Don't get to that part.I pretty much know how it is to have a toothache....it's very bad. It's like the dentist is the second home to me.It's the genes....we have teeth problems in our family...well..don't imagine that is really bad...coz it can be worst...but we do have some problems...well..
