The only reason that is slightly excusable is the landlord issues. But I would try my **** best to find a place that will accept my dog. If not I guess we'll be sleeping in the car
I'm always upfront with landlords about my dogs. Why would I risk the place me and my dogs live by not telling them about my dogs or the truth about my dog. However, there are cases(and I know a few) when people don't have a dog when they move, get it OKed by the landlord to have a dog, and then the dog ends up being destructive(like chewing siding off the house, or destroying walls, moldings, etc) and the landlords says get rid of it or get out.
In that case, I see it as a reasonable excuse. The people who chose to move into a place where they can't have dogs though.... they can go scratch.
