Scooter the moose of a Yorkie likes to sit on the edge of the tub and watch while I shower.

I have no idea why he likes to watch, lord knows what must be going thru his mind - probably that I should be running more than I have been, ha! Do you ever wonder what they are thinking? sometimes I have to be careful because he tries to get in with me, I think he just has to be as close to his mommy as he can at all times!

I am sure he is the least interested in your body. I am sure he is excited by you being so close to the floor and in the water. I think he just wants to be by mom. Bronki never left my side no matter what room i was in. He just felt he belonged where i was. I use to take my hands and squirt water at him when he sat beside the tub. It was our game.

Brady lies on the bed when I am in the shower and my cat comes in and gets in the sink and meows until I step out into the cold from the nice warm shower and turn on the faucet for her so she can drink water until I get out. Sometimes she will walk in the shower with me too. Every now and then I can hear Brady sniffing at the curtain, but he is usually such a good boy and just lies there and waits for me while I take a shower.

LOL! You must have a big bathroom for her to fit in there! I could never fit her in my bathrooms. Her head would be in the shower before her butt was in the bathroom! LOL!

The bathroom at the farmhouse is the world's TEENSIEST bathroom. You literally have to turn sideways to get slip between the sink and the open door to get back to the shower, then close the door. You can't close the door if you're standing by the sink. You should see how Kharma scrunches up to try and fit. She and Shiva are both excellent at walking backwards, lol! They can do it without even turning to look where they are going.

LOL! Brady has learned to walk backwards out of our bathroom too. It is too small for him to turn around inside it, yet he continues to come in when I am in there, which leaves little room for him and I. The cat is in the sink the whole time, so basically everyone but my husband is in there. If he were to come in, we may be stuck and not be able to get out. LOL!

Toki lays on the rug while I take a shower. I know some yorkies just love to play with water. My friend's dog wouldn't drip water, she splashes her water bowl and gets the entire floor wet. It's funny cause she also does a ritual hahaha.

Would you believe the girls walk backwards all over the house? The place is too small for them to turn around in the little hallways, or coming through the kitchen, so they just put it in reverse.

This is something that actually happened to my Mom. On the landing where the stairs turn in their big, old Arts and Crafts style house there is a what used to be a half bath. My Mom figured out how to move things around and they remodeled and put a shower in the corner. It's very small, as you can imagine.

My Dad and I were standing on the landing putting up some bookshelves. Mom was in the bathroom. Her yellow and white tomcat, CJ, came bounding up the stairs, yowling at the top of his lungs. When he got to the landing, he threw himself against the bathroom door, knocking it open enough to run inside.

We heard Mom start screaming and we heard something thumping, but something was blocking the door (it opened inward) and we couldn't get it open enough to see what the emergency was.

Finally we got the door open enough to see what was going on. The reason we could get the door open was that Mom had managed to get away from it and stand on the toilet, balancing precariously with a foot on each side of the seat. She'd been in too big a hurry to get out of the way to put the lid down.

CJ was having a grand time, showing off his trophy, throwing it up in the air and catching it, tossing it and batting it all over the bathroom . . .

A great big black rat!

You could see that cat laughing at Mom. She'd taken away a mouse he'd been all set to devour earlier that day . . .

Renee, that's hilarious!

Smkie has Mary stole your bath before. Carey used to stare at me when I would take my clothes off (when she was a pup). We always thought maybe she was trying to figure out why I was taking my fur off :D

If i start the tub and the phone rings..or for what ever reason that big black woman has my tub of water. She looks so innocent at me..as if she just knew i was pouring it for her of course. She loves the tub as much as i do. We both got tired old bones but she is suppose to wait until i am done..then i usually let her have the water while it is still warm enough to be theraputic.

That is so cute! Carey loves her pool, but not so much a bath. However she LOVES to be blowdried and brushed. I especially like how you refer to her as the big black woman lol :D

she's gonna be a big white woman one of these days.if she lives long enough .not only is her face turning white but i noticed little white hairs dotting the back side of her legs, her belly and her bum. The vet called her a magnificent old woman and that is how i think of her..she is 12 years old now. 14 is a very old lab and i wish with all my heart i could turn the clock back. it won't be the same world for me without mary and she and Vic have become so close. I am going to go post their latest pic together in my gallery. My old boss loved the song "old dogs, children and watermelon wine" Mary has always been a lady. We use a space heater for the dogs to lie infront. They both have short coats so all i have to do is cover them up and they are toasty warm. Shaffer has had his third bath and i had to pull him over (he doesn't like being pulled at all) in front of the heater and made him down stay. After he realized where he was and how good he felt..he stretched out and slept so deeply i had to check on him that he didn't roll to close.
