I forgot I had this video. Dakota caught a lizard (of course I didn't have the camera during the chase!) but then absolutely freaked out over it. I didn't know when I shot the video if it was a tantrum due to it no longer being entertaining, or that the dead thing freaked him out. After our little rabbit incident, I think he just got mad at how boring it was.

(warning: yes, there is a dead lizard in this. It's not graphic, but it's there. Don't mind my voice either, I shouted myself hoarse the night before and also had no idea how close I was to the camera's mic!)

Randomly, that is his "puppy bark" that he does every once in a while. Ear-splitting, but kinda cute.

Ohhhh Mary acts like that with snakes..even a snake skin!!!!!! I use to toss a piece down and say oh no look! I wonder if your dog would feel the same way and if that is why he reacted so strongly...He was just trying to protect and warn you after all..us humans are just so dumb sometimes:D

REALLY COOL video:)

Lol, he's trying to figure out how to bury it without touching it again! :D

Randomly, your backyard looks an awful lot like the campsites at the sand dunes I go 4-wheeling at...

Interesting. Maybe that's what he was doing. Odd that he would protect me from a dead lizard and not from a rotten rabbit, but perhaps he notices something sinister about reptiles. lol!

Zoom, I know! Isn't it awful? We were in the middle of landscaping (still are) and it was just dust and mud. Doggie paradise.

Summer, I think he had been dropping pebbles into the pool. He was probably just admiring his work.

Hahah, how cute. Both Ripley and Dakota...

I have seen Brutus do that with a dead bass, he went all the way around it, but didn't touch it...until he dropped on it and rolled.

That video was so funny and cute at the same time! Dogs can be so silly sometimes. I loved your commentary :p
