well i switched over to kirkland and its now costing me about $5 a week to feed 2 cresties (1 at aprox 10lbs, the other at aprox 6 lbs)
both like the food, there doing very well on it in terms of skin/coat condition and weight...
but jasper poops a little more than id like...then again, hes also not quite 8 months yet so may still be in the puppy bowle movement stage of life because ruby poops 1-2 a day.
I'm spending about $30 a month on feeding Finnegan, and about $50 total for all of my pets (not counting the cat, Matt pays for her food). That's a dog, two ferrets, a chinchilla and two geckos.
I spend about $60/month feeding mostly Primal, with Acana kibble meals on occasion. I don't think it's too bad... I mean, I would MUCH rather be feeding prey model but Primal has impressed me.
I do a mixture of homemade and high quality kibble.
To feed a household of reptiles, dogs, and one cat high quality species appropriate foods, you probably really don't want to know, and I don't either, lol!
Hmmm... now that we have Rory, I'm really not sure.
We've been going back and forth between raw and kibble. We have 3 free 5lb bags of Nature's Variety grain free at the moment which the chis are eating... it probably takes about 3 weeks to go through one of those bags, which are usually $16 for us.
Rory is on Natural Balance, and I'd like to keep him on it for a little bit while he's still adjusting. Then we're going to go back to raw with all 4 dogs... so maybe about $50-80 a month total?
I spend about $120-$240 per month. I have 5 now that cost about $120 and the max I have with 5 more rescues is $240. I feed them allll Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice.
Maybe about $30 on soft food, I mix up the type, just all premium. Anddd, about another $40 on treats and bones.
:yikes:
Hope hubby doensn't see...ha ha. $5 a MONTH? I wish!
We have five dogs . We're currently feeding Acana Grasslands , grainfree all life stages diet . It costs us $59 a bag and we go through a 29.7lb bag every 8-10 days . We also give raw meaty bones regularly . We usually spend around $250 a month in food and supplements .
