There's this big, huge field right across the little road that goes behind my house, not the main road. Someone told me, but I'm not positive that it's a nature preserve or some such thing. (I suppose I could find out) But if someone owns it, you'd never know. There are a bunch of old, old apple trees that I get when they're ready because no one else gets them. Most of them fall on the ground and the deer eat them.
There are a handful of people, like 2 or 3 that take their dogs in there and I'm one of them. So, there's never anyone there when I go over. It's right, directly behind my house. It must be close to 3 or 4 acres. I feel so lucky to have this place so close and it's unusual in a suburb like this.
So, pretty much every day we go back there and now that the Poodles have gotten quite reliable with the recall, (if there's nothing extraordinarily more motivating) they get to go off leash like their big brother, Jose`. We practice that a little bit while they zoom around exploring. We make a few laps around this property and then go around the neighborhood the long way around back home. Usually, I take each dog on his own walk, but lately, I've been taking all three together quite a lot because they really have a rip roarin' good time.
Here are some photos of the other day's outing. I'm a terrible photographer, so I hope you can see them. They look pretty small. Of course, I guess they ARE small. lol.
Weeeeeeee...zoomieeeeee!!!
Exploring
Matisse! Maurice! Come!
Buttercups! There's a creek down there.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my wee ones. I don't post pictures very often and decided to just do it.
