We once brought 80+ of those little fellas home from one of the big conduits near our home in California and turned them loose in the backyard. We didn't have anymore insect troubles!

I love toads most of all. Especially the little gold rimmed pupils of their eyes. Neat!!!! I am so glad you shared i have never seen baby ones.

I had three grey's treefrogs. When i got them from a pet store that wasn't suppose to have them..someone brought them in. They gave me a few. They would have fit on the top of a tack they were so small. We caught small insects on the screens for weeks until they were able to handle bigger bugs. THey said that leaf hoppers taste best of all.

I loved the baby frogs in the pond behind our house . Would go daily after I saw the spring eggs and watch the stages .

I used to catch little toads when I was young..and put them in our window wells, build little houses, etc. for them-rofl!

I used to like toads.. til kenya grabbed on of those big fatties and ended up needing to go to the emergency vets.. lol
