I let my puppy out every hour, they go a LOT! It probably wasn't the best choice to get such a young puppy while you're currently working, but I know people who have gotten this to work for them with a lot of effort.
You should invest in an x-pen or babygates to secure a safe area for your pup to stay. Exercise Pens are preferably, because if you keep your pup in a kitchen, for example, you need to babyproof all of the low cupboards and beware of chewing the wood/furniture/etc. You have to either lay down puppy pads for your Boston, or buy a dog litter pan and dog litter. It is pricey, but there is also a kind of potty tray that has faux grass on the top, so he/she will get used to going on grass.
Make sure ALL of the toys in his/her pen are very safe and non-destructible. I highly recommend feeding them before you leave for work, and leaving them with a molecule ball or a buster cube. You fill these with kibble/cookies and teach the puppy to roll it around so that pieces are released each time they roll it around. You can also stuff a Puppy Kong with soft food or kibble with water, and freeze it to give your pup a long-lasting snack. Puppies need to be fed 3-4 times daily! It would be much better if you could at least visit once a day, or invest in a walker/puppy-sitter to come by in the middle of the day to feed, walk, and check up on your pup.
