So, the time has finally come. My parents are leaving for the Ukraine early early on Sunday morning They're gonna go meet their little kiddos! They're nervous, lol, that's understandable right?!

Please pray for a safe flight, a safe enjoyable stay in the Ukraine, a quick and easy court session where the judge allows them to become the parents of the kids, and of course that all of this will take place as quickly as possible! Also, this is gonna be hard on the kiddos, the orphanage is the only place they've lived, so please pray for them too.

Yup A 5 yr old girl, a 3 yr old girl, and a 3 yr old boy. They all live in the same orphanage and they have down syndrome.

the family I know is just returning today from the Ukraine with their 2 adoptees. They had quite a journey over there--but it appears that the children were very well cared for in the orphanage, which is a blessing too.
I hope your parents have a safe, and quick trip. The other family has been there since the end of August, and just got back to US today.

Congratulations to that family I'm really glad to hear the kids were well cared for. My parents don't know how long they'll be gone, it could be anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks, so I'm hoping for a shorter trip rather than a longer one!

They're not, but they've known each other all their lives, as they live in the same orphanage. And the two little ones' birthdays are only a couple months apart, so they're essentially twins, Which is why they bought this:

I am very excited! I don't live with my parents, I actually live 2 hrs away. They do have 3 kids still at home though, a 17 yr old, 15 yr old, and 12 yr old. The 12 yr old is SUPER excited, he's always been the youngest, and can't wait to be a big brother

Well we took them to the airport at 3:30 this morning (of course no one got any sleep lol) and stayed with them till they went through security. I hope they're having a good flight.

They made it there safely! The flight was uncomfortable and they hardly slept, but they're there now, safe and sound *huge sigh of relief!*

I got an email from my mom. She said when they finally got to their apartment they slept for 11 hours!
