Sal and I (also Athena and now Dotty) have been walking with a group of people for about 2 years in an unoffical dog park (semi-private). Never a problem Sal has been great with her past dog and has been great with her new dog for several months (currently a 10 month old Portuguese WD). Even when her dog went through that annoying puppy stage, Sal never growled or snapped. All of a sudden because of something she "Heard" (about Pit Bulls I assume) she is going to keep her dog away from Sal.
Hey, it is her dog and she can do whatever but both dogs are confused because once great friends have to be leashed and led away. Her dog loves Sal and Sal loves her....never any problems. She says she is afraid of a "Big Dog Fight" but there has never been even a wrinkled lip between them. Sal is over 9 and no DA signs and her dog is a spayed female that is a big goof, takes nothing serious. They have shared treats, sticks and dead squirrels (already dead of course) in complete harmony.
