I really like the new design that Paco is going to be adding to their site. It's called the Stardust:

I've been eyeing the stardust one on their Facebook page lately. So amazing!

Nova has a Paco martingale and it isn't that heavy at all. Maybe his was made differently? I don't know their colors well enough to tell you what color it is. They don't typically do the style of collar that I prefer. His is fishtail shaped which is (in my opinion) much more elegant on a long sighthound neck than a normal flat collar. I don't mess with martingales on the Beezers much though since their heads are bigger than my Greyhounds' and Galgo's. I typically just put leather fishtail/European/lurcher buckle collars on them. Nova was chosen for his as a tester dog. It is 3 inches wide in the front and tapers to an inch. If you like the style maybe you can ask them to make you one? The color really stands out on him.
Gah!!! Nova!!! Love him and you should totally post some pics of him.

I actually really like that fishtail shaped look too and own another collar that is shaped that way that looks nice on him. I wouldn't mind something shaped that way that tapers down a bit at the buckle. I definitely don't want to go less that 2" at the widest point. I was looking at him quite a bit today in his CGC prep class and he was wearing a 2" collar and I think he pulls off 2" pretty well. Too much less than that looks weird on his neck.

I also like the idea that was suggested about mixed metals. I would have to see how it looks before I decided to mix metals though. I'm planning to add a tiny bit of color for pizazz, maybe a rhinestone here and there like I've seen on some Xdogs or maybe instead of rhinestones I could have them add a colored spot here or there like the spots they use on the JoJo. I really like their white and black spots.

After seeing the pics, I would agree that black is not my favorite on him. I think chocolate, brown OR tan look great on him, and I definitely think brass, or mixed metals like you were saying. But not just silver. The brass contrasts nicely with his brown/tan patches of hair.

Have you seen Paco's signature line? I've turned into more of a plain-loving collar girl, lol, and am dying for one. I like the tan on black. But I can't decide if double layer will be too much on Jackson, or not. But I've got a double agent collar I've been waiting on for over a month... ugh apparently fetching tags went on a break right when I ordered. I'm really tempted to add it to my order though and just say ship them both at the same time LOL.

I think I'm leaning more towards tan though I like chocolate too. I think the tan would look nicer on him as it ages though so might do tan. Still undecided. I love brass a lot and my main leather leashes all have brass snaps so I prefer the D ring to be brass but the bling part can be brass or mixed metals. I need to browse I see what an example of the mixed metals looks like to see if I would even like it that way or not b

I really like their signature line as well though I much prefer plainer collars like that on Bamm. He just looks really nice in plain leather collars and I don't have to worry about his fur snagging on anything. The signature line with a simple name tag added on is one that I'm considering for Bamm when I get his.

I am LOVING the new signature line of collars as well. I want to get one as a martingale with a Fetching Tag bit for Rory.

Brittany, I don't think the double layer will be too much for Jackson. Tucker weighs 6lbs and he only wears double layer 3/4" Pacos.
