Do you like them? Have you watched?

I thought the first episode was pretty dumb and uninformative. The chick from that Real Housewives (I think?) had a Chihuahua who had a few problems, but I don't think anything was really fixed in the end.

The second episode was the Castle one, where Victoria was rapping (LOL, which was actually pretty funny) among doing other weird things, like training a "micro mini piglet" I did think the episode was funny, but VERY uninformative. I mean, she did a few things, like introducing canine freestyle to her Papillon, and helping with potty training 4 little dogs. But overall, I didn't get the vibe like I usually do from Victoria. She didn't seem to be taking anything seriously and it was just kinda.... weird.

I didn't like it at all. I also didn't think it was funny, but I may have just been in a bad mood.

I ended up changing the channel after the 'photoshoot' I thought that was all ridiculous and I couldn't take any more  Yes, some Americans are rich and stupid. We all know that :rofl1:
She posted on FB that these first to episodes were more for 'fun' and next week will be back to business... from what I saw on FB, there were a lot of people bashing her for it. I personally don't think that was neccissary... but, no, I didn't like it.

No I wan't a fan, but I also started to be bugged by her towards the end of the last season, he methods IMO started to become less positive reinforcement and more punishment. Not harsh punishment of course, but still she started using punishment (like removal) without PR, when using both would have worked MUCH better. So I got frustrated when good behavior was being totally ignored.

What really bugged me about the first episode this season was when she said high protein food causes aggression or makes it worse. Are you kidding me!? I'm afraid she took the Chihuahua and put him on some low quality kibble so that "the protein is balanced out by carbohydrates".

One of my biggest pet peeves is when TRAINERS give health advice when they have no reason to. I think, you become a trainer, stick to what you're good at.

I saw that on her FB. I'm curious to see now. I'm glad others felt the same way.

I don't have Cable anymore so I havent been able to see it. But it definately seems like their grasping at strands to keep the series going.

I didn't dislike them, but yeah they're a little... weird. I'll definitely be happier when they go back to "normal" lol.

I missed the first show, but watched the second one. Uhhhh........not my cup o' tea. I want the old Victoria back!

I was not impressed by the spoiled rich brats who lived in a castle. I think they really need to learn what real pet love is. It's not giving your pets everything you can, but giving of yourself and doing the things necessary for good health & happiness.

In the last moments of the show, did you all notice that the poor little piggy's tummy was dragging the ground? I know it's a pig, but still.......seemed like it had been way over-fed.

As odd as those people were on last night's episode, I'll give them credit that their dogs actually seemed just fine, aside from not being housebroken. They must at least socialize them, they didn't seem shy or fearful at all.

She's definitely had worse on her show, as far as spoiling goes. I didn't feel like these people were going overboard, if I recall the only thing I thought was silly was the stroller. They showed her washing the dog's tear stains and brushing teeth like the dog was being pampered, but I was actually impressed they were doing those things! They free-fed them because they were afraid of them becoming hypoglycemic. I didn't get the vibe that these were just rich people pampering their dogs and treating them like accessories, they seemed more genuine than that.

But, it was 2am when I watched it, so who knows if my mind was all there. :p

Yeah, I agree with you. While some of it may have been excessive, most of the things were fine, imo. I brush Jackson's teeth, and clean his eyes, and bathe him weekly, and yes in the winter, I dress him sometimes. I agree, the only thing I did an eyeroll with was the stroller. And I liked seeing at the end how happy they were to be walking and off leash.
