Makenzie, are you from the states?
Yes. I didn't realize that Puckstop also had London, Ontario listed...I could see PA, and London, but my screen is dinky...I had to scroll over to see Ontario. For some reason I just assumed it was one of the various Londons in the US (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, etc...)...oops.

So once again your reading comprehension, like my spelling and punctuation, is questionable.
I guess you still think I've spoken about your 11th grade english teacher, too...you're amazing.

No. My last statement had nothing to do with either of our teachers but what we actually learned and retained.

Rottie, when did asking a question become starting something?

I think it's okay to generalise and blame a group of people, but then, when you meet someone from that part of your country, you have to give that person the benifit of the doubt and not condemn them right there and then. And it's okay to be angry some time, but you have to get over it after a while.

But I wouldn't go as far as saying hatred, because then this leads to genocide.

In Quebec, we're used to being dislike in the rest of the country, to the point it is almost a national pride to defy the federal authority.

That's what makes politics fun. Doesn't it? :)

Roll this up as a comment on this entire exchange so far.

The only thing I remember from my 11th grade English class is that I wanted to bang the teacher. She was a little hottie. :p

Are we going to discuss the topic or try to "talk all smart like?"

Style schmile.... Lets talk about something of substance please. Makenzie, are you one of those overeducated types who think you are better than everybody else? I hope so. LOL

The current events in the Ukraine and Belarus, to me, cement the need in free societies for the people to be armed. Armed revolution is a bold and last step, but it always needs to be available to the people as an option. The governments should fear the people, not the other way around.

<ding ding> Round 2..FIGHT! (+2 if you can name the game that comes from)

;)

Puck, you make me glad for gun control. You make me want MORE gun control ;)

Hows that??? Gun control would not be a problem is more people were as responsible with them as I. Seriously. I understand guns and respect them as the dangerous tools they are.

I dislike a huge proportion of the people in my country (England).

But, that's as far as it goes.. I wouldn't say I would like to wipe them all out and start again under my own rules... that would be silly I would never think that. Honest. Really. You do believe me right? ;)

There are huge proportion of people who are just uuurgh.. Pointless. I know that is an awful statement to make, and my life is certainly no more meaningful, but at least I appreciate what is around me and enjoy my countryside (what is LEFT of it!), and try and treat people and basically everything with respect.. Unlike alot of people.

Ever heard the terms 'Chav', 'Scally', 'Townie'??

http://www.chavscum.co.uk/ <- type chav into google and this was the first site that came up lol!
