Hey !!! I never thought of that !! Which comes first ,a household guard dog or a dog that might bite a visitor !

I say the household guard dog. I think having dogs, it is the owners responsibility to teach them not to bite everyone that comes in their territory. They have to know the rules.
Why can't it be like driving? The longer you have your dog with no (bite) accidents you start getting rate reductions. IMO that is the answer to this problem. It may give dog owners an incentive to keep the bitings down.

Indiana Mutual canceled my homeowners because of Bimmer . . . just two weeks prior to that he saved them a claim when a man pulled up to my house in a van to rob me. When Bimmer shifted into protective gear he took off in a hurry! Ever seen a van lay down rubber, lol?

I got the tags and description and found out later when I talked to the detective in charge of robberies that he was a known thief and they suspected he had escalated into home invasions.
