Hi there, I am new to your forum, hope you are happy to have new members.
I have 3 Labradors, one of each color, I breed and hopefully will be able to get back into showing them. I have been breeding and showing Labs for 7 years.
I also bred and showed other dogs before this, a total of about 15 years now all up.
I ran my own dog grooming business for 4 years, but am now retired.

I also have 2 cats, one is a moggy the other a Hymilayan x Birman.
1 rooster and 4 hens.

We live on a farm but are about to move into a smaller house.

Hope to get to know you all.

Walty.

Such a debateable question, not easy answered, much controvosy over the coloring, genetics and temperament outcome of the dog.

What I can say is in Australia I have found the Yellows to be very temperamental, boisterous and hard to control...a general steering away from temperament and a lean towards color preference has caused the color to defer from the usual Lab (as such, if you can define a lab as usual, sometimes I wonder about mine. lol).
The topic is long and very debateable, with differing opinions from all sides.
A thread all of it's own..but I am willing to participate in such a thread.

Thanks for the welcome..

Hi and Welcome, looking forward to seeing some pictures of your animal family. We've just got the one, but sometimes feels like more, depending on whether she's in her 'I'm more adult than you' mode, or being a terrible teenage... lol....

Welcome Walty! I just love labs. If you have any pics I'd love to see the 3 of them. I've never heard of a moggy cat. What does it look like?
