It happened Fri. night, so I took him to work with me Sat. morning. The doc said nothing was broken or out of place, he never whimpered when he was examining it. He said he must just be stoic or stoved up b/c there's no signs of anything else. I guess he stepped in a hole or something that hurt his paw, he won't walk on it but he'll lay on it or put it down for a second when he sits He's on Rimadyl for 3 days and we'll see what happens then. I hate my baby being like this! :( Keep him in your thoughts, and I'll let ya know what happens.

On a side note, I'm sick.
And it sucks big time. It snowed here last night and a little still today and I couldn't go out and take pics or build a little snow-woman.

Hope Ike's leg gets better soon & you get over that cold real quick. You both need to cuddle up together and watch a good movie.

Thanks everyone! I think he's milking a little too, lol. I think the Rimadyl is good though 'cos he played around and acts happy, he just won't walk on it yet. Just got to give it time.
And I'm taking my meds too and being lazy.

shepluvr- hope you and your family get well soon too!

Well the Rimadyl seemed to help a little. He started putting it down more, but still not walking on it. So he went back to work with me this morning to have x-rays. Good news-nothing fractured, broken, or out of place! The Dr. thinks he must have twisted it somehow when he did whatever it was he did and that he should be using it normally soon.. So he has to take Rimadyl for another 5 days.

I'm sord of better. Still a little congested but I don't feel as yucky.

Boxer*Mom my little Demi just went through this the other week, she had x-rays etc and their was no fracture or break and everything was lined up correctly, my vet thinks she may have dislocated one of her toes.

She was on Rimadyl and Cephalexin and she was running around like a mad thing a few days later - must be the session for it, although if Ike is anything like Demi then you can understand why they will get injured every now and then, they are just so full of energy.

Sending healing hugs your way :)
