To all Chazhound forum members...

I want to apologize for my behavior the other night about the "fight" with Jason. No, Chaz did not ask or tell me to do this, I just thought it would be the right thing to do.

First off, Jason and I (I won't speak for anyone else) got in a very heated debate and I said some things that should not have been said and I really didn't mean to offend anyone. I got caught up in the moment, and as most of you that have read any of my posts...I am very blunt and to the point. I should have regarded other peoples feelings and morals. For my use of language, I do really apologize.

The good thing that DID happen is that Jason and I took it to PM's and we get along great now, so something did come out good from something bad.

Anyway, I love talking "shop" with all you people, and as I told Chaz.... I may in the future agree to disagree, but I will not present myself in that manner again. (here at least ;) )

Anyway, it got out of control..... and I was mad and scared that he was going to abuse an animal (which I now know was not the case), and he pushed my buttons, so I pushed his back. Very immature, I agree, but it was said, and now it's done.

I won't excuse myself for who I am, but I will apologize for my own bad behavior, or language.
So here is my formal apology to those who were offended....:(
Thanks for reading.
Amy

When I read your unruly debate with Jason, I thought you were one of those arrogant know it all who likes to degrade and gang up on people who has a different belief or opinion.

We all have our different culltures and way of life. We should respect others for that.

I admire you for your courage and humility. You are a TRUE person.

Merry Christmas to you from me and my 7 cute sons and daughters.

Thank-you. I'm new here, and honestly, that thread kind of scared me. I realize now that that is not the "norm" here, and this post confirms that.

I too have been in the center of a few heated online debates. In fact, if it can stay civil and unpersonal, I am all for an exchange of opinions! However, I do try to keep things civil, or at the very least, non derogatory.

And ain't the PM system grand? I've.. ah.. how do I put this?... ripped (lol) into a few people that way without putting 3000 other people in the middle of my personal issues. LOL :p :p

I posted, but lost it....(presses a button and lost my whole thread)
Anyway, thanks for all the above! I am a hard a**, but it came from my background in the animal industry....working with a lot of males older than me that had to work under me....NO, I am NOT bashing males, I had to work with some pretty wacko pms'y type females too.
Plus, I am just a A-Type personality, BUT I do have a huge heart, and would never pull the last punch when someone was down. ANYONE can come to me about animals or their loss of. Many have been supportive of me when I lost mine. I am very loyal and a good person, I just tend to have a potty mouth............
Anyway, Rhino, don't be scared... it's nice here, it's just different a bit for me, because the other site I go to relates to my profession, and I sometimes forget that there are minors here. At my other forum, we all have a common goal, here, it's a huge melting pot of dog, animal lovers from all over.... there are debates and fights here so much, but for the most part, everyone pulls together when it is needed. So, don't be surprised if you see a heated debate, it happens, but sometimes, like with Jason, you are first enemies, and then you find a friend. Take it for what it is worth.... and don't get overwhelmed.
Take care, and again, thanks for reading.

I am not here to start a fight, just expressing myself. This thread truly surprises me. It surprises me that you so quickly would become all buddy-buddy with Jason, yet you still call me the enemy. I still cannot understand why I am the enemy and why I was treated so harshly when I was simply trying to get back to the original topic and not have it turn into what it did. I've been on several forums that were CONSTANTLY fighting like that thread, at it was evident to me early on that it would turn into a fight. Now, I have not recieved a PM by you in quite a few days, and maybe your opinion of me has changed.. All I can say is that for just trying to not get involved, I got quite a bit of heat(and you implied in your posts that many others thought of me as teh "enemy" as well.) I don't appreciate the reputation here. :( If many do still consider me the enemy, then certainly staying here wouldn't make much sense, because I am on forums not only to educate myself, but help educate others and form friends. If people think of me as an enemy, I will not respected, and I will certainly not make too many friends.

And because this is the interenet and you cannot here my tone of voice or see the expressions on my face, I will tell lyou that I am not angry with you. I am simply saddened that you acted the way you did, and probably still hate me. I am one to try to always keep the cool, and I hate it when people hate me. :(

Thankyou

I only got to read the thread after it was locked, but it seems that animalbiz actually agreed with you, but you're the one who thought he was arguing with you. Just the impression I got though.

Fran, I actually did not agree with either. It wasn't about agreeing with her, it was that she was becoming more and more rude, and I called her out on it. I had no problem with us just disagreeing.... it was just her behavior.

Animalbiz, I truly envy you for having the courage to post such an apology.
If it proves anything, it proves that you are a person who is nice to have around. I didn't come across the heated thread at all nor do I know what it was about. All I know and care to know is that you have been very civilized and apologized and you deserve all the respect.
For those of you who have been offended in any way or for any reason for AnimalBiz's posts, I think the apology should wipe any bitterness out.

- Animalbiz already made an apology and its clear that it was meant for everyone. You're a very nice person Tessa. I don't think anyone hates you here.

Tessa, I don't hate you... we disagreed and got into a stupid fight, that's all. I am sure you are a great person and I am not against you nor out to get you. I said my peace... You, Jason and I all behaved bad.... as for your part, maybe not so much, but name calling is name calling no matter what, and you took the approach to embrace it like we did, just on another level. No hard feelings here, and I hope you don't have any as well.
Like I said, this place has tons of arguements, some really heated and some not....but when it comes down to it, it seems people here pull together even though they might not be the best of friends at first. It's all good, don't be upset.

Tessa, also, I just re-read your thread... you are NOT the enemy here, no one thinks you are. Again, this is a good forum, but people fight all the time, but that does not mean you are not welcome or the enemy. Let's just start over fresh and forget the other thread... I am sorry you felt that way. By the way, I checked out one of your sites, and I am very impressed. Way to go! Good luck, don't be so hard on your self, and keep doing what you love to do. Any other questions or comments, please feel free to pm me anytime. Yes, that's an open inviation!:)
Take care, Amy

This is off topic, I'm sorry - but JoyfulRoy, your dog is just beautiful! I just want to give him a big hug, hehe.

Now on topic - I'm glad that's not the norm here because I am new also and honestly that thread scared me a bit too. I have been at dog forums where it was much worse though, and alot of the posts I read here I think "omg, that person is going to get jumped on for that" but you all handle it very well IMO.

I think this calls for a group hug. :)

I really quickly just scanned a couple of posts from that thread...not enough to know what really happened, but I'll read it all later. No offense, but from the little that I saw, don't worry animalbiz.
