I'm not sure where this should be, so, please move it where it is appropriate.
We rescued a puppy that was roaming the streets with a few others and was left behind by them. She was half dead from the heat. We've had her about 2 months now. All I can figure is that she has terrier. She has a Fox Terrier face. She approximately 4 months old.
Here is my problem. She will not sleep at night! She wakes us up by pouncing and licking us at least once, normally twice each night. I let her out and she does her business and she comes back to bed and sleeps a little longer.
She gets plenty of play during the day as we have other dogs and one adopted her from the beginning. She has a large yard to run and play. During the weekdays, she has to be in a kennel because she digs and chews everything in site. But, during the weekend, when she is out all day and I keep her awake and playing, she still doesn't sleep. Will she grow out of this?
The other thing, she has started eating poop in the last week. We have wormed her, given her toys, gets exercise and she is fed Pedigree. My husband does give her bits from his plate sometimes, but, usually it's chicken.
What can I do for this?
