I Hate Roommates.

Ok, so one of my roommates, Phillip, is REALLY making me angry. He keeps trying to discipline my pets... something he knows NOTHING about. He told me tonight about how he found my cat in his room, and there was a shredded food wrapper on the floor... and since he knew it was her, even though the deed had already been done who knows how long before, he decided to spank my cat!

We just got in a argument about it, which ended in "It's my #$@% house, so I should be able to do whatever I want!" from him. It may be "his" house (rental btw), but it's MY cat, and *I* have 100% say in what kind of discipline MY pets get or don't get! Him spanking my cat, especially without my express permission is like me hauling off and smacking one of my friends' children. UNACCEPTABLE! I would like to punch a wall right now. Or his face.

I hate roommates... OMG what I would give to live on my own again... =(

Agree, 100% unacceptable... why not look and move to another house? It's really hard to find good roommates, especially if he don't really understand you being a pet lover... It could have hurt him if he does have and love pets and being treated the same...

Or maybe have a room for your pets that would allow a little space so they won't annoy him...

How DARE he hit your cat, he'd obviously left the food wrapper lying about otherwise the cat wouldn't have found it in the first place, and it was probably that that inticed kitty in there in the first place!

I hope kitty get's it's revenge by peeing in his room.. Cats don't usually take these sorts of things lying down..

Maybe he could close his door if he has a problem (just a thought)with the cat being in his room. Augh! I just dont get people sometimes. And it is certantly not his place to disipline you cat. I would be very PO'D.

Holy wow... yeah, I would haul off and smack your roommate. You're just "disciplining" him for not behaving how you'd like. The deed was already done, you didn't see it, but he needs to be punished for it anyway.

Then I'd get to movin' out. Yeesh.
