I'm not really worried about him picking up his new name - quick and easy with a clicker. I'm worried over myself adjusting to a new name, lol! Plus I get anxiety over whether I'll like a certain name forever. I'm picky. Unfortunately no to 'Charlie', it's a common name as well. I do like the name Charlie, but there's too many just like 'Duke'.
LOL I know exactly what you mean! Poor Bailey had no name, and then a couple of names for over a week before I picked one... and then I kept slipping up (and calling her Shelby) so I stuck with Bailey... THEN it took me a while to pick a spelling. :rofl1:
*Sometimes I wish I'd spelt it differently though because a lot of people call her a boy  But, I love her name. It suits her! (Despite my father calling her Sybil  :rofl1: )

Had to laugh at this.. way, way too many Charlies at our day care too! Only one Duke, but between Bailleys and Charlies, I'm always confused!
Charlie, Bailey, Duke, Molly, Maggie, Diesel, Jake, Jack, Cocoa.. etc. Haha. All good names and all but there are just so many of them.

I know I'm sounding redundant but thanks guys.

I wanna get him a nice collar I was thinking one of Ella's Leads collars.. this one specifically: Ella's Lead - Royal Ruby or the Ella's Lead - The Stagger Lee Collar. I'm not sure if the Royal Ruby would be too feminine (He's not the manliest boy ;) ) but the Stagger Lee might be a bit bulky.

You don't think the Stagger Lee would be too big for him? His neck size is 16 inches. He's a small guy. I love the collar, though. I guess I could probably message Chewbecca and ask her opinion too if it wouldn't be a bother.

It wouldn't be a bother to Becca, but no, I don't think it would be too big for him. Tallulah's only a 55 lb, 19" tall APBT with a smaller neck circumference than Duke and she rocks that 2" wide Tallulah collar :) I can't imagine anything smaller on her now!

He's BEAUTIFUL!!!

I'm really starting to like the chocolate labs considering we now have 3 on Chaz. :D

I love the color of their coat, their eyes, and the talk of their goofiness. :D

I'm going to PM you back here in a second, Zhucca. :D

Congrats! He sounds like a great guy, and very handsome too! Labs have really, really been growing on me lately. There is a beautiful yellow Lab that comes to the dog park across from my house nearly everyday, and I absolutely love him. He's one of the prettiest dogs I've ever seen, and I love watching how he interacts and plays with his owner. I've met a lot of obnoxious Labs (with usually equally as obnoxious owners..), but the nice ones I've met have been wonderful. :)

Labs definitely made a big come back for me. Lol

I used to not like them much as I too have met my fair share of awful labs. However, when you meet a good one it definitely outshines the bad ones.
