I don't understand!

You all remember that my daughters were both being bitten by little flying things?
Maddison is allergic and the Meds are working really well for her
Josie's were becoming Infected so the Doc prescribed Anti-biotics for her, which worked really well on the Infected ones that she already had........but it isn't stopping any new ones from becoming Infected .
She is still taking the Meds.........I thought this would prevent further Infection?
I just don't get it!
I am taking her back to see the Doc after School today.

Ok heres what the Doc said............the Anti-biotics basically aren't working
So he has given Betadine ointment and some dressings, told her to rest and allow it to heal b/c running around can push the Infection around in there.
If by Monday she has any pains in her Joints or Groin then it means the Lymph nodes are Infected (meaning more Anti-biotics). Or take her back if by Monday this one isn't looking any better or has gotten worse.
If she gets anymore that look Infected i am to treat them as though they are and use the Meds given.

They get out on Tuesday coming (25th i believe) and are out until September 5th
Then my eldest (11 year old) starts up at the Senior School

Cool.. I remember when I was in grade school I'd get out for summer vacation in May and wouldnt go back till September.. it was looong summer break. Nowdays, everyone is getting out late May even early June and returning early Augest. Too early I think.

I think over that side of the Pond you have roughly the same time out (6 weeks)?
But you come out sooner and go back sooner.

That's an awful lot of Doc visits At least they don't seem to mind! LOL

I hope they figure out what's *really* going on soon though or come up with another solution. Going through all of this every time they get bit is a lot!

My niece and nephew got out the end of June, and they'll go back the first Tuesday of September I believe
