Yes, they have already been reported, we will be watching the papers, and the net to see what happens. No it is against the law to practise vet care here, So they will be nailed for that as well. I do not do well with WING NUTS. And they already no that. I just have a way of getting them out of the wood work. So yeah they are being watched. They do not know who they came to visit!!!!

Well believe me it will get shut down. I just have to wait till they have their first litter. The SPCA will be all over it. I will be calling them today. I know once I tell them they will be ready for anything or anyone I send them after. Just can't take idiots:spam:  :yikes:

i believe redeyre is talking about KIMBERTAL, not these two idiots. KIMBERTAL being one of the biggest puppy mills in this nation.

What is KIMBERTAL? Googled it and got some info, but too confusing. So far i've figured out that they are a kennel mass breeding dogs. Talked about another kennel too. I think it was King Kennels. Could you go into more detail? Had to ask.

Kimbertal is a ridiculously huge puppy mill. As far as I know they still "specialize" in Dobermans but breed Rottweilers too. I have no idea how many litters they must pump out a year, probably more than all the DPCA breeders combined.

Found their website - http://www.kimbertal.com/

yeah, i looked at their site when i googled it. Lookes weird to me. Wouldn't people notice the smell or the living conditions, if they went there to get a puppy? I could understand if they shipped the dog or someone is stupid enough to get a puppy from a petstore, but if they went there? I mean, its not that easy to hide a smell that has been growing there for years.

I have heard alot about both KIMBERTAL and HOYTT Dobermans being puppy mills. To think that I was going to purchase a Male Dob with both breedings attached. Is there nothing sacrid anymore? Like I said its all about the almighty dollar. Remember its the name too. How many people buy brand named dog food that is no better than the cheap stuff?

It's amazing how people can get rich sceeming, and daggering! Who suffer's?

Mainly the poor doggies, and cats but then we have to attach the inocent by stander too. The doggie purchaser. We have to do something to stop the maddnes!

PLUS... once you get a dog you should take care of it NO MATTER WHAT. you shoudln't just be able to return it and get a new one... that just fuels the attitude taht dogs are disposable

i'm just getting angrier and angrier over this

I'm not defending this guys at all--I just want to find out why they are so poorly regarded.

I think they put the bit on their site about "Why Dogs Are Better Than Women" as a joke. If you look, they have a similar bit about "Why Dogs Are Better Than Men." If they are really sexist, I can't figure out which gender they are favoring!

Yeah--I'm always sketched out by breeders that say that they will replace your dog if you have any problems. However, isn't it a good thing if they are willing to take back a dog with health problems? (I thought breeders were supposed to do that)

hopefull the ears were cropped by a vet, hopefully. Looked weird to me at first with the funny "ear muffs". i don't like it when the ears are cropped. they look weird to me. The dog doesn't look right for some reason. I don't think people crop dog's ears around here, then again we don't have too many breeds that have their ears cropped, like dobermans and other breeds like that. People do dock puppies tails and cut off dew claws, though. There's hunting dogs and herding dogs mostly. The problem around here is wandering and stray dogs having mixes. Not too many people spay and neuter their dogs. Although, there is one kennel i know of that i would not go to. Well maybe 3. The breeder i went to included.

Yes, you should. If someone buys a puppy from a responsible breeder for a purpose (showing, for example) and the pup grows up and cannot fulfill that purpose, they should be able to return it for a replacement.

I'm not even sure why mills bother with guarantees like that, though. Maybe to make them appear responsible to those that don't know better.

If that was me and one of my dogs turned out to be non breeding but sold as a prospect I would let them have the option to keep their dog spay or fix it and then they would get another one for cost or refund the difference between a pet and breeding prospect.

I dont like when breeders force someone to breed or force them to give up their family member who turned up to be a pet vs breeding.

The pet store and the backyard breeders do not have room to take back dogs. Sad but true :( they become disposable like trash.

Did anyone else notice this? I cant believe these people are still in buisness

"Kimbertal observes the time-honored tradition of reserving its finest female pups for breeding stock to maintain the quality of its internationally recognized lines. These pups are selectively entered into the Kimbertal breeding program based on their outstanding conformation which meets or exceeds breed standards. In addition, they must display stable temperaments, winning personalities, excellent health and exceptional physical stamina.

Under our no-cost breeding agreement, each breeding pup is home-raised by a carefully chosen family who returns her to be bred at the appropriate time to one of Kimbertal's champion studs. The family then provides both the pre-natal and post-natal care according to Kimbertal's specified standards, returning the litter to Kimbertal when the pups reach 7 weeks of age. This practice insures that every pup in the litter is properly socialized in a home environment from the time they are born until they are placed with their new families. With the family having fully met the terms of the breeding agreement, the adult female is then theirs to keep.

Families who wish to participate in Kimbertal's reciprocal breeding program must live within 90 minutes of Kimbertal, pass a screening interview, agree to the breeding arrangement, and sign the breeding contract. According to the terms of the contract, Kimbertal provides the stud service, veterinary care, food supplies and any necessary medications.

From time to time, conditions may allow some of these elite females to be available for outright sale.

Sorry to play devils advocate but I see nothing wrong with this. Better than being kept 2 years in a kennel and being bred over and over. At least with the families they grow up like normal dog, provide a litter and then thats it.
