I'm exhausted. I'm driving up my driveway coming home from work and see a front screen in a window was popped out. I think, Oh, Great... they did it again (they'd gotten out a few nights ago while I was babysitting my nephew and my neighbor put Annie in the backyard but muddy Hunter wouldn't be caught). Meanwhile, I had found out from my -ex, whose dog I'm babysitting while he's out of town, had a bad habit of doing this. So, I was sure to not have the windows open too much. Well, she must know how to RAISE the window for the BIG EXIT because that's just what they did today!!! Hunter didn't even have his collar on, but Annie did -- thank goodness with my phone numbers also on her tag. Nice people from a neighborhood away had left me multiple messages saying "my" dog was swimming in a retention pond behind their house all day with "another dog" (Hunter  ). I called them and explained the situation and they got them into their garage so I could come collect them. I flew over their and both soaking wet dogs got into my car and we went home. They're now resting peacefully (bless their little evil hearts) at my feet with that lovely wet dog smell wafting through my house (MMmmmmm...). Needless to say, the windows are now locked down, the AC's on, and I just hope Annie didn't teach Hunter a new trick! I can't keep him in my backyard when I'm not here anymore, and if I can't keep him in the freaking house during the day with windows open -- I'll just hogtie him when I'm not here? Lol...

What a nice romp they had though! I'm sure they loved it and are planning the next excursion as you sit at your computer. LOL

Well, Annie (a.k.a. Bonnie) went home today and Hunter (Clyde) and I are now empty-nesters once again :( .

Hunter's so depressed. Looked like they had another little party today, too. I came home to a plant knocked on it's side and dirt everywhere
