I just got back from school and I recieved very bad news. I was talking to my grandmother on the phone( the one in Bosnia) and I asked her how my dog is doing. She says to me "oh he's dead". Im like "what???" she goes "yeah, he strangled himself while he was tied outside". I guess there was some storm or whatever and they left him tied out by his dog-house by himself. He went into a frenzy and ran around and eventually strangled on the rope. For those of you who dont know, the dog I'm referring to is Medo. He was my gsd/wolf x that my cousin gave to me a few years ago. I had to leave him behind in Bosnia because at the time, I lived in an apartment and my land-lord didnt allow pets. I stayed with Medo for two months of his life while I was on summer-vacation. He couldnt have been more than 3 months old when I had to leave him. I havent seen him for about 4 years and I was really looking forward to seeing him again this summer. Medo was the most loyal and trustworthy dog I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I still remember his soft fuzzy furr and the way we played tug of war. One of my favorite and most missed memories is waking up in the early morning and running out to his dog house. The air would be cool and fresh, and the sun would be rising in the horizon. I'd take Medo and we'd walk around for hours, just discovering new places and meeting friends. I also love the way he would round up the chickens and herd them. He was my little buddy.

A-w-w Nedim, I'm so terribly sorry. What a shame. I hope you'll feel a little better before too long. Thinking of you.

Grammy is so sorry you had that horrible news. It must have been so hard to leave Medo behind. Hugs, big boy, and give Peanuts a special loving tonight. I'm so glad you have him by your side.

Nedim, I'm so sorry about Medo. I'm crying after reading your story because I can tell how much you loved him even thought you weren't together.
