Just watching the news and apparently our gas prices are going down because Americans aren't buying as much fuel. "They" said that Americans have driven less miles then the previous year for the first time since WWII

Changing times...

I can believe it.

We kept any vacations we took (weekend things this year) very close to home ;) So, you're welcome :rofl1:

I paid $3.27 for the mid-grade fuel today! I can totally see gas going under $3 in the near future. Woo-hoo!

Yeah gas keeps going down... here it was back to $1 per litre... hasn't been that low in a while.

Expecting around $0.90 per litre around the end of the month.

I think " They " were seeing how it was hurting the economy . Lack of travel was hurting many businesses .

Yeah, thanks, lol. It's gone down over .50 from the highest it was. I can't stop driving, so it works for me. :)

The cheapest around here is about $4 a gallon.
"They" don't expect it to be below $2 anytime soon though, and possibly never. Our goverment loves us, don't they? LOL

I would be happy if it made it to $2 something... it's still around $3.50... I'd even be happy if it was $2.75... and to think... just a few years ago I was bitching about $1.50! :yikes:

When I got my license 7 years ago gas was at $1.25/gallon. I used to complain that it costed around $15 to fill my Civic :yikes:

I spend $60 to fill up my Mazda now. It would be really nice if gas went back under $3.

I remember when I first started driving... I had a '90 diahatsu charade. It cost me $10 to fill the tank... and one tank took me from my house to the top of NH(40 mpg).... god I miss that car... it was AWESOME! and I got it for $200. It was a hatchback, and I only had Keeda at the time. She got the whole backseat, I still had a frontseat for someone and I had a little trunk that fit my camping gear perfectly.... **sniffles** why did my stupid ex have to kill alfey!?

you must be like the only person in germany who drives a ford! :rofl1:

When I lived there, I saw them about as much as I see alfa romeos here.

Don't get me wrong... I drive 2 fords and I love them both... I also used to drive an escort hatchback(loved that car!).... but... when I lived in germany, I saw maybe 2 the whole time I was there....

We really cut back! When I went back to work I would bike both ways. Anytime I have an errand to run I wait until I can take care of everything in one run. The only places I go which are not a necessity are within a mile of my house.

Today at the gas station I filled up on unleaded plus at 3.19 a gallon and with my five cent a gallon discount that meant 3.14!! WooHoo!
