Funny Musings from my 11 year old

Maddie is newly (re)obsessed with her purple Orbee eggplant. She's been bringing it to bed every night... Which she's always done, but I prefer the stuffies myself. Especially when you roll over onto them in the middle of the night orbee in the back, not too comfortable!

Her newest game... She bugs me to let her outside. When I let her out, she has to take her eggplant with her. And hide it. So then a few minutes later, she wants to go back outside and "find it" and then bring it in the house and toss it around.... and then, of course, a few minutes later she wants to go out again. Rinse. Repeat :rofl1:

Both of my dogs throw their orbees (and kongs) around to see if treats will magically pop out. They will even take it up the stairs and drop it down. It drives me nuts but hey it has to say something about their intelligence, right? opcorn: lol

AUGGIE DOES THIS. I am constantly yelling at him not to throw his toys down the stairs. He lost his turns with the Twist 'n Treat because he kept throwing it down the stairs...
I think part of it is he likes to watch them bounce down the stairs too. He will play tennis ball by himself. Drop the ball down the stairs and just stand there watching it bounce down like =D =D =D Then run down the stairs, grab the ball, run back up the stairs, drop it again, stand there like =D =D =D

Let's say it has to do with their intelligence and it's not some kind of twisted plot to drive us to insanity. Because I would have guessed the latter LOL.

Oscar drops things off the couch all the time...we have no steps, but he is a little guy (5 lbs) so the couch is kind of like steps for him. He cracks me up, because he drops his toy over the edge and then looks at it like "gravity works!"

Phoebe auto-fetches if nobody will throw her toy for her. She has thrown her toys behind the couch on more than one occasion.
