How do you get nice looking babies? Every time I try two dragons in the scrying workshop that I think will make cool babes 90% are hideous. Do you just have to breed two similar looking (color wise) dragons together?
This link saved me on that. It tells you what color options the baby could come out as. I know the link looks kind of sketchy, lol. But you can also just google "flight rising color predictor." You put primary, secondary and tertiary colors of each parent and it will give the range they could possibly have.

Does anyone want this guy? I just don't really want Tundras.

I will take him. I might like tundras... I love the gene combinations and don't mind the colours (I like bright colours)

Do you want any of these in exchange?

(if Laur doesnt' want either of the bottom two I am willing to let them go for free as long as they aren't just going to be exalted etc)

Primary, secondary, and tertiary are separated from each other... If you scroll through the color choices like in the AH or anywhere, how far apart the colors are placed (between primary mom and primary dad, etc) means the baby's primary can be mom or dad's primary and any color literally that are listed in between. It has nothing to do with actual color mixing unfortunately. :s

So if the mom had a Leaf primary and dad had a Banana primary, then the baby could be Leaf, Spring, Goldenrod, Lemon, or Banana. Spring and Goldenrod are pretty ugly colors. LOL

if mom had a white primary and dad has a white secondary, those two whites aren't affected by each other at all, because they're not on the same level.

primary is body color
secondary is wing color
tertiary is special genes color (circuit, gembond, etc)

and in terms of genes, this is a good guide for probability http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=gde&id=1123974

Ahhhh I see. I was confused that I would keep getting weird colored babies that weren't remotely the same as the parents

Here is a color wheel that the FR genetics RNG uses when spitting you babies. Its also helpful to see what you need to do if you start in X place and want to end up with offspring of Y color

Finnick the fling is currently guarding a nest, but that should be hatching tomorrow. Does anybody want him? Cuz Neptune is gonna eat him otherwise for daring to court his Lady Danu

I'll send you the tundra. If one of the pearlcatchers were a female, I'd take them but I am so full up on males... That first one is so pretty though!

How do I trade you the tundra? lol

I do like his colors and genes but I just am not a big tundra fan.

I know I have so many boys as it is lol.

Does Mr Tundra have a familiar? It won't let me accept your trade.

I just had these guys born this morning and I love them! I'll probably sell them all, but it's too bad the ridgebacks are male. Otherwise I'd probably keep one. I do love how the skydancer turned out. It's so hard!

I blame this thread for ruining my free time. I'm Cerastes on FR if anyone wants to add me :)

Also, if anyone wants this mirror hatchling let me know. He's kind of cute but doesn't really fit well with anyone else I have.

I'm cleaning out my lair to make more room (and money), so let me know if any of you guys are interested in these Coatls and Spirals. None are ready to breed at the moment, unfortunately. They're all in the AH currently.
