i dunno about that. iv been selling mine for 250kt but it takes me 3-4 weeks to level one. i see people talking about "hours" to level a dragon to 25 and thats completely incomprehensible to me :yikes:

Hmm... how do you have your dragons stats set? Did you follow a guide? I bet it takes me 4-5, MAYBE 6 hours to level one up, but I never do it all at once, lol.

I bought four scatterscrolls for my custom female progenitor because I didn't really know her colors would be a little eyesore when they got gened.

The first two times were icky, but the third scatterscroll gave me Maize/Violet/Stonewash. Still looks icky and incomplete on her as a Guardian, but when I tapped her into the Scrying Workshop genes and all, she makes a pretty gorgeous and elegant Imp, Coatl, Skydancer, or even Tundra.

I'm thinking I should be content with this and reserve my last scatterscroll for some other unfortunate derg. I'm too happy the tert it gave her isn't ugly!

Haha, I feel you. I scatterscrolled my progen SEVEN TIMES. One of them was Rose/red/navy. What?! I finally settled when she was at Ice/jungle/purple and I love her now.

I wish they'd put in some sort of artificial bottom for the dragon prices. I feel like it is so hard to make money because dragons are so cheap except for nocturnes. I'm picking up NICE 3 gened dragons for 4000-10,000.

I can barely get rid of mine for 5k... if they don't sell by the time they're adults, I just level them quickly and exalt them for twice that :\

I do the same thing and I think that's how the dragon economy levels out. People get tired of selling their dragons for next to nothing, more and more people start exalting and prices rise. Especially because right now a lot of people (myself included) are buying dragons for 3k, leveling and exalting them for profit, removing a LOT of dragons from the gene pool. I think the fact that we had a quick succession of registration windows and a large influx of new members it's taking longer than normal to level out. It used to be if you wanted to snipe cheap dragons to exalt you were paying 5-6k. Now it's 2-3k. Crazy.

I wonder if the best way is to level and exalt or to hold till they are RTB then try to sell them for a lot?
