ARGH.

Another month of hard work and nothing to show for it. No wonder it's so easy for me to fall off the wagon these days.

Today I ate 4 chocolate bars. In one sitting. ZERO positive feedback + exercise related injuries = perfect reason to say "screw it all!".

Why not? It's not like eating healthy food in moderation or exercising actually benefits me in any way. Might as well.

Three months into getting "fitter" and I weigh the exact same (my highest weight ever), my measurements are all exactly the same, my body fat percentage is exactly the same and photographic evidence suggests that my body looks exactly the same.

Photographic evidence here.

Seriously. Why bother.

In one sitting.

And for the record - I think you have a FANTASTIC figure.

You are slim, but curvy.

Well, coming from an unbiased eyes I DO see a difference. I see more definition in your stomach, legs. Less cellulite in the thigh area. I can tell from the back view that you have slimmed a bit.

The one thing I would point out is to make sure your diet is low in fat and that you are eating enough carbs. Fat is a killer and most people eat WAY too much, even if they think they are eating healthy.

I can really see a difference though. Keep it up girl!

I do see a small difference.

Being as small as you already are, it is going to be naturally more difficult for you to drop any weight compared to someone that is actually overweight.

Heck, I'd kill to have your body. I'll likely *never* be thin again.. in my family after pregnancy, there is just no hope.

ETA: One workout program Dustin SWEARS by is P90X. Whenever he does his workout, I usually see results in just a few months, and he's *skinny*. He doesn't need to lose weight, but you can already see the muscle. When I did the workouts with him when we were younger, I dropped a whole size and got so much more toned in just a few months, and I was already very skinny back then.

Wow! That's...amazing to hear. I sure as heck don't see it, but I'll totally take your word for it. :D That makes me feel a lot better!

Man..I thought my back was the worst part.

I'm glad I posted these pictures. I genuinely don't see a change, but maybe I'm just being overly critical. It's nice to get someone else's unbiased opinion.

I'm totally going to take other peoples' word for it!

P90X...I've never even heard of it! I'll do some research.

Don't you just HATE how easily guys slim down and tone up? I swear it takes so much less effort for them to see much bigger results.

I'm definitely not expecting major weight loss (I'm only about 10 or 15 pounds from being a very fit weight). It's both a benefit to be close to your goal weight (a less daunting task) and a drawback to be so close...cause it takes SO much more work to see even just a bit of an improvement.

But I have a bit of renewed confidence now... Apparently other people can see something I can't! I'll take what I can get. :) And I'll definitely look into that program you mentioned.

What's amazing with that program is that even *I*, someone that doesn't lose weight well, could see results. But it is definitely more of a man's workout, very very tiring and hard. But I just loved it because it worked every little thing on my body.. and ohh.. did it hurt.

That said, I think it is pretty darn costly. Dustin was able to get it from a friend free, that's the only way he can do it.

I agree with all the rest...even if the measurements aren't showing ya, you have definitely toned up!! You are doing such a great job - dont become discouraged. Also, like foxy said, make sure you haven't just hit a plateau. Change up your work out...if you like hard core, then like Tessa said, P90x is a great program! I also love, love love jillian michaels!

Another thing about exercise...

The most amazing changes happen on the inside. You are adding YEARS onto your life by exercising regularly...your heart, bones, lungs, etc are all getting strong...you are slashing your risk of diabetes/heart disease/certain cancers by tremendous amounts.

People tend to only think short term w/exercise & think about the outside changes...

Don't forget about all the amazing physiological changes that are occurring as well :)

NOw you got to walk off the umpteen miles the chocolate bars equal. Just remember your building muscle weight which ways more than fat. DOn't give up and don't cheat.

Sugar creeps me out now that i have had a couple years without it. One bite and my teeth say ewwwww.
