So for those Fila-monster lovers, who are some good breeders out there?

If Robert is ever ready for a fila this is where I'm getting one, provided Renee doesn't have any available. :p

- Kennel de la Luna

I had the privilege of witnessing Unifila Serras De Minas Ossanga pass the CGC. :) He is an amazing fellow, very devoted to Dianna and extremely stable. He also has a good ojeriza from what I've seen, having experienced a fila roar as I passed his crate a little too close for his taste. First time ever sound waves massaged my liver. :rofl1:

Her dogs are imported from Brazil. I've chatted with her at some IABCA shows about her dogs. She and her husband had a hard time finding filas with the old style stable working temperament and good health here in the states, so they imported. Whatever they did, it definitely worked from what I've seen. I know she's really interested in finding other fila people who aren't into the whole "my dog is a big bad killah!!" image that is ruining the breed in some places, and in finding people who would work her dogs on cattle.

X2 on who Romy posted they are awesome from what I've seen. I've had the pleasure of meeting with them (mostly her), talking to them, and hanging out with them, and their dogs a few times over the last few years. Her dogs are great, she has great presence, and knowledge of what she is doing and her goals and breed. I can't wait to see her again next summer if not before. On the other hand I see the breed getting more popular and I am seeing more and more skitzy and 'off' dogs sad.

That was the show. I was the person with a huge brindle and white borzoi on Saturday. I'd love to make it again next year, my little girl puppy should be old enough to take the TT by then. :)

Renee, I lost the card that has her number and stuff. She's got a facebook page though and I think her website has got her e-mail and things listed.

I am getting seriously ill with the registries. They are getting farther and farther away from what makes a Fila a Fila and are more worried about measurements and ear sets  I like what I've seen about these people.

I can understand why Clelia got out of it.

I was thinking the same about Clelia, Renee. It has changed so much in the past 5.5 years I have had Brutus.
