OMG you guys are so sharp I tell ya! I never noticed that photo from someone on here or that they had posted another dog, why are they trading the german shepard for a chihuahua when they already have a chihuahua they are trading as well??? This is just strange...

No its not normal at all for people to trade dogs here, but there are all kinds of people everywhere I guess.

He sounds like he might be a challenging dog that needs a firm, consistent owner. I hope she's very careful about finding him a new home. :(

She's still on, just posted today. Lets hope she drops in with an explanation. Maybe there are some particular circumstances we don't know about.
It would have to be an amazing and I do mean amazing story to justify why you want to "trade" your dog for another dog. You notice two of the dog breed she says she wants are a Rottweiler or a Mastiff. Do these dogs not have some similar traits? (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Also I would really like to hear a good reason whe she is giving up her chihuahua male, but would like a female chihuahua. Why is that? Why is she looking to replace these two dogs with two other dogs and do you really think there is any justification for that??

It would be a different story if they where being rehomed with a good reason such as health and that was it, but to replace them with other dogs, there is no excuse for that at all.

You dont know me.I am selling him or trading because my landlord informed me he is too big for where I live. The other large breeds I was looking for are for my BF.What buisness is this of yours.Of course if I wasnt a single abused mom I could afford to move. But you try living off of $460 a month and see what you can rent.I am done here. This forum is nothing but B.S and people looking for trouble.

let wait and see if they respond here first. there's more than one or two incidents where peoples pics of dogs have been stole and used for purposes other than the owner wanted.

i'm not saying that's what happened, but on the net where you don't know most of the people who will read what you say, you have to give people a chance to explain themselves with things like this

Didn't you also sell or give Sasha to Yuckaduck for her breeding program? If not then Yuck was using her picture in her last website. Didn't she also have a littler of puppies?

As I stated, I did not even know you where a Chaz member when I posted this, regardless, I stand by my statements.

When I move into a new apartment I am responsible enough to make sure that my dog is able to move to the new apartment with me. If the landlord orignally said it was okay and then changed there mind then they broke there lease, and I would look for another place to live even if it cost me more in rent and moving costs.

Since you are looking for a large breed for your boyfriend why can't he take the germand shepard?

There are just some of your options. A responsible pet owner would look into these options and do what they needed to to keep the dog.

If the landlord allowed you to acquire or move in with the dog originally, then I don't think he can legally force you to give up the dog simply due to size. Unless you signed a lease stating no dogs were allowed, I believe you have the right to keep your dog.

While I feel bad for your situation maybe you should just not own a dog right now at all. Why not give the dog back to the original breeder? Why do you think it is right to trade a dog at all? And yes, it is our business in what you are doing because someone on this forum found the ad and posted on here and others figured out it was you. Why didn't you post a thread here so we could help you. If you are an abused single parent then don't you think you should focus on your situation at hand and your poor child. Forget about trading in your dogs to get new ones what kind of life can you even offer them right now? It doesn't sound like a stable enviroment for you or a dog.

It's really not about you. It's about preventing a dog from being bounced from home to home, and possibly landing in the wrong home. If he's aggressive to male dogs and chases cats, then there are issues to consider. I think people here are trying to give you options so you don't have to rehome your shepherd.

You mean you work for a rescue or you "adopted" the dog. I think if you where working for a rescue you would not be selling the dog, so Please don't use the term "rescue" if you adopted this dog.

A lot of smaller dogs get nervous around small children and we need to work extra hard to both train the dog and to teach the child. How come in your post about the chi you did not tell the buyer that this dog bit a child twice? Its one thing to put that a dog is not good with kids, but another thing when a dog has bitten someone.

As for minding our own business, you write here about how wondeful your dog is, and now you are giving him up without a good reason. You must have known that we would not support that decision.

Most the breeds that you listed in your add that you would like for your boyfriend also shed a lot, such as a pug.
