Well someone has to keep you grounded, so your heads don't inflate as big as they already are. Must be nice living the perfect and such a wonderful core of friends backing you up regardless of how ludicrous your assumptions and opinions are. Well i guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do to make yourself feel good and better than everyone else.

Boy I can't thank you enough for this service you provide... why just the other day I floated away from home when my head inflated too far... it took a nasty comment from a stranger to bring me back to earth...

I joined this forum less than a month ago so IMO I have not been here long enough to get to know everyone and their different personalities. So I would have to say that at the moment I don't have what you would call a "core of friends". I'm still getting to know everyone and them me. But I hope that once I am here long enough I can have some friends that i enjoy talking to. Since I enjoy being here.

I have been busy the last few days and imagine my surprise when I find out this thread jumped to almost 20 pages.:yikes:
I would never give up my dog for any reason, however, if someone is in such a bad situation that they must rehome I WOULD feel bad for them, but this does not seem like a situation where someone truly feels bad about having to rehome. Instead this seems like a situation where as someone else said "novelty wore off" and its time for a new one. If you want to lease something, get a car. Dogs are lifetime committments you cant sell and trade them like they are some kind of stock everytime you get sick of them.
My advice to the OP... STOP GETTING DOGS... if you can barely afford to take care of you and your child, DONT HAVE A PET.
It makes me sooooo mad sometimes, the way people treat animals.

See, by disagree with their views, you're actually saying "disagree with the views of good dog owners" and that's why there's a problem...
let me come on here one time and talk about how I like to breed my bitches on their first heat and then leave them out back just so that the kids get to witness the miracle of birth or something as offensive... even I'd like to trade my dog in for a new one, because I can't afford a dog... I'm giving him to a nasty BYB... they're going to have words about that...
however, I'm sure many would disagree about all the wild foods I feed my dogs or the fact that they chew rawhides, and cow hooves or whatever, but it wouldn't go to bashing... see the difference there?
People on chaz all have different ways of taking care of their dogs...but the k/w there is care. If for some reason you cant, then it is your responsibility to make sure it goes somewhere where it can be. Even if it is sold to a responsible pet owner. Not traded like a used car.
