I'm from New England, and I've always loved long drives :D As a child, we'd take plenty of road trips... although we would take planes to far destinations like FL, CA, and any place out of the country besides Canada.

I still love long car rides... we've been making the trek up to TN (about 10-12 hours) an average of 2 times a year over the past couple of years.

Every now and then you get tourists here (often Europeans that are used to countries of much smaller size) that think they can go from someplace like Toronto to Thunder Bay for a day trip. That's about a 20 hour drive, one way.

I know people here that will drive into downtown Toronto for work, and that's about 75-85 miles one way? I wouldn't do that, but we often drive back and forth for events such as the Sportsmen's show etc so we can check on things at home.
