Dusk/indoors photo practice

Lately I've been doing my best to get the hang of using my camera in various types of lighting, abusing Manual mode to it's fullest potential. Yesterday I practiced some dusk and indoor shots with Finn.

A neat tree ornament the last owner left here. I like it.

This one is sort of off, but I liked it mostly because it was accidental.

Those are great! I just have a P&S (translation: POS) camera, and indoor shots are sooo hard. It doesn't help that the windows aren't placed well to allow natural light in.
You did great, though, Allie. I love the "Happies!" pic.
