dream? pregnant?

well.. ..i went to bed..woke up my boyfriend.. just to cuddle.. and he just stared at me for a while than.... his eyes teared up alot.. i asked him whats wrong honey? he told me dont worry there happy tears... well.. i kept asking him what was wrong lol than all of a sudden he told me
" i think i got you pregnant " i kinda laughed and said why do you say that? he told me with teary eyes i just have a feeling.. a really strong feeling that i never had before.. i just kinda giggled it off.. but.. thats weird.. he had a dream of me being in the delivery room delivering our baby.. and another one of us going to get married.. whats going on? what do you think? my boyfriend never gets like that..
well i guess i should write this too maybe this has something to do with it. my birth control ended about a week ago.. :| but i did get sick in the morning yesterday and i dont feel so good today but by the afternoon i feel great!!!
do you think that dream of his was a hint? or what? :|

As for dreams, I have dreampt I have given birth and breast fed before now, so I wouldn't read too much into it...

Hmmm I would take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Sometimes when we think we might be pregnant our mind will play tricks on us and make us get the morning sickness, etc etc.... that's happened to me quite a few times. I would say just take a pregnancy test. You could very well be if you're birth control ended and you had unprotected sex. Good luck to you whatever the outcome.

yea we did at the last pill i had :| other than that i use protection. and no not really. i want to wait till i get financially ready again first. but if it happends.. what can i say? Well, according to my sex ed. teacher, sperm can live in the females body for 10 to 12 days (12 is less common but possible) so if you had unprotected sex on the last day of your pill then you could very well be pregnant because birth control usually just stops ovulation. So if you stop taking it then you ovulate and are able to get pregnant cause the sperm is still hanging out inside of you. So pick up a test, I'm not sure how long after intercourse it has to be before a test will work though I know some say they work 1 week after conception.

It definitely wouldn't hurt to pick up a pregnancy test. You should be able to get a positive result on an early detection test up to 5 days before your missed period.

Generally, sperm only survive inside of you for 3-5 days (I've never heard of 10-12). And ovulation only lasts for a few days out of your cycle.

And I really wouldn't recommend unprotected sex at the age of 16, especially with the family situation that you always make threads about. Heck, I wouldn't recommend that any 16 year old get pregnant.

Condoms are cheap... you can buy a big box of them for like $6, seriously... and it doesn't hurt to double up on birth control methods. Especially when it doesn't sound like you're too serious about taking the pills on a daily basis. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. Take a test if there is any doubt whatsoever. And no more unprotected sex, even when you're on the pill. Used properly, condoms are greatly effective.

I don't think you've ever said something I don't agree with. I think you and I are A LOT alike.

It tears me apart to see all these people having children and acting so non-schlant about it. I was just thinking today how exciting it would be to start the new year off with the new of being pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for 4 + years and then there are those who don't even try and then act so careless about it.

I just keep thinking if it is meant to happen it will happen....right?

We had fertility issues before Maggie (our first) sometimes you just need some help. Not to be nosy (you can tell me to mind my own business) but have ya'll talked to the dr about not conceiving?
