dog breed?

I was jusst wondering what you guys thought... My friend has a dog but we cant figure out what breed he is hes from a shelter so there is no clue to what he is. here are a few pictures...

For me,its a crossbreed of American bulldog and some sort of a terrier.
Its a beauty though.

though i thought if it was a boxer cross mastiff... wouldnt his muzzle be shorter? its quite long

I would say his body looks like a pit same with the coloring and his head looks like a Boxer and something else bull mixed, his skull is huge!

But someone here I forget who, has a pit and there dogs skull is really large.

Also what is his temperament? That might help in the guessing here.

My first thought was Bullmastiff mix, possibly with Boxer. But after seeing the full body shot, I'm thinking he could be all Bullmastiff. (obviously not show quality).
