Wow, it's funny how people are soo against docking and cropping, but not think declawing is at all cruel. People come after me saying, the cruelty of declawing is only an opinion, and a personal decision, isn't that the same with docking and cropping? I wish people would actually research, and learn about the topic, before actually decided to declaw, or dock, or crop. As most people no nothing about it, and don't bother to read about it to find out what actually happens to their pet.
I don't have to worry about docking or croping, ACDs are all natural! (LoL) Although some people get confused with the "Australian Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog", and hterefore dock the ACDs tail. Many working dogs have their tails docked, because some shepherds think it will prevent damage to the tail, when their tail actually acts as rudders to help the dog steer while running and herding. And if you dock a show dogs tail, he will be disqualified, because the breed standard requires the dog to have a tail!
