Nope I voted for him because I wanted to. Nothing anyone's managed to dig up bothers me...heard it all before...done deal here. Bleu Cheese is evil and Obama has my vote.

I wish everyone else's candidate luck!

Well, the only bright side for me is that for the first time in my living memory, the Pennsylvania primary actually matters. I might actually get to go to a couple campaign rallies and hear the actual candidates speak in person for reals! Honestly, this has never happened before since I've gotten to voting age.

I also today will be re-registering as a Democrat (I'm an Independent and PA has closed primaries) so I can cast my vote for Barack. :p

Puck, who are YOU for, for the presidentual race?
None of the above.

For now I am not sure what I am going to do. But, in the end, I will probably vote for McCain. Because at least he says he will leave the 2nd Amendment alone. Hank and Obama are both obviously anti-gun. Without the 2nd Amendment intact, all our other rights are just "on loan". By intact, I mean being able to have them AND use them to protect myself, my family and my property with lethal force if I feel I need to.

Well, with parties come platforms and if you don't agree with the party platform because you have differing values, well....

I think a lot of Texans voted for Hilary cuz they knew McCain has a better chance against her.

If that is true, that is really gross.
It is true in a BIG way. I know of a LOT of people in PA who are changing over to Democrats to vote for Hank. The idea is that McCain can beat her more easily.

All is fair in love, war and politics. :)

FWIW, I am not doing this. I don't care who the Dem is AND I am an Independant and staying that way.

My mom (a republican) voted for Obama just because she did NOT want Hillary to run and possibly have a chance at winning.

I voted for Obama not just because I particularly think he's the right one for the job, but I do NOT approve of Hillary. I'm in the medical field which makes it hard enough to be a democrat, but Hillary's idea for socialized medicine is horrible. It'll turn US healthcare into something like Canada's. If Hillary's president, you can say bye-bye to the knee arthroscopy you needed to have done, or the esophageal endoscopy you needed to evaluate that stomach pain, because with socialized medicine it may be free or extremely affordable for low income people, but it won't be as accessible.

A lot of health care providers are republicans.. I'm not really sure why.. but I remain a democrat because I believe in what's good for most people, not just what's good for myself. But if Hillary ends up the nominee, I will vote for McCain.

Anyway, I think Obama is still very much in the running. Clinton may have "won" those states last night, but it was a close margin, and the democratic party divides their delegates proportionally. Therefore Obama got 44% of the delegates in Ohio, 48% of the delegates in Texas, 40% of the delegates in RI, etc.

No Im sure what your referring to I havent read all the replies.
He meant that hopefully you're not going to vote against a Republican solely because they claim to be a Republican but rather because you disagree with their policy.

Too many people vote party lines and have NO idea what the crap they're even supporting.
